We understand that many of our guests may be experiencing stress given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions, closures, and cancelled or postponed public events. We want you to know that we are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from guests such as yourself. Our hearts go out to those who are affected by the events surrounding COVID-19.

At Vacation Rental Collective, providing safe and clean environments for our guests is always a top priority – even more so today. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, and want you to feel at ease while staying in our homes. 

We’re maintaining our existing high standards of cleanliness and providing additional COVID-19 guidance to our housekeeping partners about proper disinfection techniques consistent with the CDC’s published guidelines. All spaces are thoroughly cleaned with a focus on disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as remote controls, light switches, door handles, tables, toilets, and sinks. 

Our housekeeping partners are also encouraged to pay extra attention to self-protection through best-practices like washing hands and wearing rubber gloves.

Please know, our guests can expect the highest quality care and attention to detail from the Premier family of brands today and every day! As always, please use your own vigilance toward good hygienic practices in concert with our cleaning standards are the best defense against this virus or any other.


For Our Guests

Flexible Travel Plans & Future Rebooking Policy
We believe in responsible and safe travel while staying vigilant and following the recommended procedures and protocols by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local authorities. We continue to welcome business and leisure travelers in all of our markets and maintain commitment to quality care. That said, we certainly understand that COVID-19 is disrupting some of our guest’s travel plans. 

To help our guests, for all stays arriving between now and April 30th:

  • Guests will be eligible to receive a travel credit for up to 100% of the value of the rent portion of their current stay. The travel credit can be used for a future stay in the home you rented at any time over the next 12 months. We will refund the unused portions of your reservation such as the cleaning fee, taxes, and damage waiver fee, and retain the rental portion of your reservation to apply toward your future travel credit.
  • If guests have future stay dates in mind, our staff is available to assist you with rebooking your stay. With everything else going on, rebooking your vacation should be seamless, and we’re here to help ensure this process is as easy as possible.
  • Guests who purchased travel insurance as part of their reservations should reach out to their travel insurance provider for details regarding coverage and to seek reimbursement for their reservations where applicable. For guests staying with us in one of our ski resort communities (Vail, Durango, Ouray/Ridgway), who are impacted by the recent closures of the Colorado ski resorts, your travel insurance coverage may cover the total value of your reservation. Please contact your travel insurance provider for details regarding their coverage.
  • Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance.

We understand the need for increased flexibility with travel planning right now, which is why we’re offering a 72-hour grace period for all reservations. If a guest books a home and the uncertainty of the ever-evolving circumstance prevents them from coming, guests can cancel without penalty 72-hours after booking. 

Social Distancing 

Fortunately, all of our homes are equipped with keyless entries, which limits personal interaction during stays and lets you access your unit directly without having to meet anyone to facilitate the check-in process.


Discounted Extended Stays & Competitive Nightly Rates 

We’re deeply discounting stays of 10 days or more for guests who can easily work remotely, are currently stranded, or are in need of privacy and distance. All of our homes are equipped with WiFi, full kitchens, and most with on-site laundry facilities. We welcome you to hunker down in one of our digitally-serviced, professionally-cleaned homes in a beautiful location, with all of the comforts of home. We’ve also implemented competitive nightly rates across all of our markets for guests looking for shorter stays.

We are actively monitoring the situation based on updates from the World Health Organization, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, and will continue to respond based on the best advice of governments, public health authorities, and medical professionals.

Free Lodging Program for Virus Impacted
Families & Individuals

 Premier Vacation Rentals Group provides vacation rental lodging for thousands of guests a year, and property management services for hundreds of homeowners. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, in partnership with our donating homeowners, we’ve developed a program to immediately provide for free lodging to eligible members of the communities the company operates in who are affected by this quickly developing virus.

Individuals Who May Qualify:

Local emergency responders
 – Due to the amount of exposure to the virus our emergency responders are experiencing just by the nature of their line of work, it may make sense for them to find alternative locations to live in during this time if they don’t live alone.

Medical professionals and military personnel assisting with emergency response efforts – We imagine that there may be some areas where medical or military professionals are needed due to outbreaks of the illness, and we’d love to help house these folks comfortably as they help our communities.  (Individuals who have a lodging per diem as part of their organizational efforts do not qualify in this category, but will qualify for highly discounted rates).

Family members who are the primary caregivers or those who share living space with other family members in the highly sensitive population demographic who are ill or are required to interact with the public on a regular basis due to the nature of their profession –  It may make more sense for the family members of the higher risk groups above to find alternative accommodations during this time so they can isolate their loved ones more easily.

Relatives of patients who live in our markets – Some people may have to travel into our markets to care for loved ones affected by this virus who may be having medical issues currently or in the near-term.  This unexpected travel can be expensive and challenging.  Another example is health care professionals who are already working long hours with small children at home, whose children suddenly aren’t able to go to school, nor to their usual childcare providers.  Families are having to help each other during this time by traveling to the aid of their family members with small children, and this kind of travel may not be affordable.

People who require isolation and who cannot remain in their usual home – By this we don’t mean people who have tested positive for the virus, but people who are highly susceptible due to either age or pre-existing medical conditions (lung disorders, heart disease, and diabetes are examples).  Many of these people may live at home with extended family members who still have to go out to work, or may be healthcare professionals themselves, and they can’t risk being exposed to the virus.

Teachers – It’s already hard enough to make it work financially in many of our communities for our teaching professionals, and during this time of unexpected wage change (many teachers have more than one job, like waiting tables, or cleaning homes, that may not be available to them right now).  We can imagine housing may be causing some of these folks financial distress, and perhaps we can help.

Other qualified individuals on a case-by-case basis.

The above offerings are subject to terms and conditions which may be provided upon request. All applicants will be required to undergo a thorough screening process which includes but is not limited to a background check and financial screening.

Additionally, Premier Vacation Rentals Group has set up a program for its homeowners to donate two-night complimentary stays to be offered to not-for-profit organizations in the communities they operate in as auction items to raise much needed funds for organizations experiencing increased demands on their services at this time. One of the donating homeowners had this to say after donating to both programs Saturday morning, “We are definitely interested in both programs that are available.  This is a wonderful way for homeowners to support the community, especially if living a distance from it.”
