A wonderful retreat with beautiful spaces, gorgeous landscapes and mesmerizing mountain views on 29 magnificent acres! Property includes a pond, labyrinth, garden, gazebo with seating and fire pit. Tucked on the outskirts of the mighty San Juan Mountains, on the edge of 5,000,000 acres of National Forest, we have a beautiful environment that promotes relaxation, connection, and joy. Our proximity to the second largest body of water in Colorado, McPhee Reservoir, adds moisture to the hot dessert air that's quickly cooled by the steep elevation gains of the mountains, creating one of the most comfortable climates in Colorado! Near hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, fishing, boating and hunting. Perfect spot for your retreat, reunion, or small wedding!

The log Lodge features a grand central stone fireplace, a great room with a TV, large dining / entertainment room, a large fully equipped kitchen with nearby outdoor grill, and a bar area with pool table. In addition to the 7 bedrooms (each with their own private bathroom), the lodge also has an office space, outdoor seating and exploration areas, two common area bathrooms, one washer/dryer, a small fenced area for up to 2 dogs, and ample parking.

The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens, as well as a dishwasher, coffee station, and multiple crock pots. There is plenty of dishes and cookware for your whole group. A large grill is right outside the kitchen door.

Lodge Bedding Configurations:
Every bedroom has its own full bathroom, and all bedrooms are upstairs except for Bedroom #1 ~

There is high speed internet (100+ mbps), but limited cell coverage - so wifi calling would be a great alternative.

Except for the main level bedroom, the Lodge does not have A/C. However, there are plenty of floor fans and drawing the shades on the East side of the home will allow you to keep it cool in the warm months. The fireplaces helps to keep it toasty warm in the winter.

Water is a precious resource in the dry Southwest. This home is on a cistern, so we do ask that you practice water conservation efforts to the best of your ability during your stay with us.

The Lodge is 2.5 miles to Dolores, 14 miles to Cortez, 25 miles to Mesa Verde, 50 miles to Durango, and 65 miles to Telluride.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
