The house we stayed in was perfect for our group of 10!The house is perfect location to feel close to town but still out in the wilderness to see wild animals and enjoy our space! Each room had its own bathroom which was wonderful! We had a little bit of hot water heater issues but it was resolved quickly! The fire place was a nice indoor touch! Ping Pong table was a hit with the kids! Great place overall!

Our family of seven (grandparents, parents, grandsons ages 9-17) loved this home. Plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The whole family enjoyed the arcade games and the ping pong table. Morning coffee on the patio was perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and beds were all very comfortable. Only negative was that the plumbing sounded like it had air in the pipes - on the noisy side. We used bottled water for drinking.

6 adults and 5 children, ages 2 to 6, and we had a great stay. The layout was perfect and gave plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub was amazing! We got a huge snow dump while staying and had the power go out. Found out the next day that the power line in the neighborhood was hit by a vehicle and impacted power outage throughout that area. The vacation management was quick to respond to our questions and concerns. We had a great experience and would consider using this property again. Just a reminder: If there is a big snow, 4 wheel drive or chains are a MUST!

The house had 3 king size en-suite bedrooms and another room for the kids with bunk beds & a queen. With 4 bathrooms, our 6 adults and 5 kids were easily accommodated There was a nice area with games and tv upstairs for the kids to hang out. There was also a ping pong table, and bags games in the garage which we had a lot of fun playing. We did have a couple of small problems, which we reported to the management company, They promptly came out and resolved them. My grandchildren were looking for the hammock they said was supposed to be there and we didn’t find that, but they did have a new hot tub, which was not yet hooked up, so future renters will be able to enjoy that. It was a short trip into Durango and there was lots to see and do in the area. We had an enjoyable stay!

This was a great place to stay! I came in all the way from Texas and the staff was very helpful in the booking process, as well as giving lots of information about Durango and fun things to do there. The house was very clean. It also came with an arcade game, ping pong table, gas grill and fire pit outside. I hope I can make it back to Durango soon! When I do, I know exactly where I’m staying!

Two bucks greeted us upon arrival. The grandkids thrilled at the sight of geckos and chipmunks. Stepping out on the second floor balcony to take in the night sky I heard the call of an owl in the near distance. The relaxing tone carried over to our property manager, Keith Brant. From the first contact with Keith I found him to be very personable, understanding, extremely quick to respond to my calls, and he would answer routine questions like I was the first to ask! Keith even drove out to the rental to confirm clearance for our RV through the pines along the drive way up to the house. The home’s floor plan and design was very functional and allowed living space upstairs for the kids to play. The outdoor patio area was wonderful...even better than pictured. I’d love to go back with more time allowed to enjoy the hammock!

We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do.

What a wonderful experience! We had such a great time at the oak house. Everything we needed in one spot. We love the location of this house! It had all the beautiful scenery, day and night. We saw a few bucks in the morning and all the stars in the sky at night. The rental had everything we needed, even reverse osmosis water! The kitchen had all the kitchen appliances, which was very nice for our 5 day stay. King size beds, direct tv, and even extra beddings! The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time!
We definitely recommend this property and look forward to more stays at this location!

The property description provided was very accurate. The owner was really helpful and prompt in responding to questions before we arrived. The home is beautiful and the outdoor space is wonderful. You feel away from everything but it is very close and convenient to the town of Durango. We were attending a wedding at the Ridgewood Event Center and this property location was perfect. The Ridgewood Event Center and Kennebec Café in Hesperus were wonderful. We had all other meals at the property. The kitchen is well appointed and we enjoyed eating and visiting on the large outdoor patio space. The ping pong table in the garage was a big hit!

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. It is very nice, decently spacious for two families, and well decorated. We spent much of our time at the home relaxing while our kids played outside. The kitchen was great for cooking meals and we loved sitting at the outdoor table to eat. At night the kids watched movies in the upstairs media area while the adults sat outside under the stars, it's a great set-up! The house is far enough from neighbors that you can't see another house from the backyard, it's very private. The beds were all very comfortable, bathrooms all very nice, and along with the ping pong table there were also a couple yard games we set up and enjoyed. Our contact for the home was very responsive and helpful too. Highly recommend!!

The house was beautiful and we loved the outdoor seating. A couple minor things: the house wasn't ready when we got there so we just waited outside for a while. Tthere were no hot pads which was odd and the ice machine didn't work, which wasn't a huge deal, just inconvenient when packing coolers and making drinks.
Overall, we loved all the space and the house was very clean.

We do have a strict check-in policy of 4pm especially during the pandemic as we have amped up our cleaning procedures and need until 4pm to have the home completely clean and guest ready for you :) We stopped by the home and there were hot pads in the kitchen drawer. Words wont do this house justice. The location is literally a 12 minutes scenic drive past Lake Nighthorse to the south side of Durango and 15 to middle/north side near Main ave. The houses location could not be more perfect, privately nestled in the beautiful high country of the san juan. Not only is the house perfectly stocked with anything necessary for an entire family reunion, but it is incredibly quiet and we got the best sleep of our lives! All furniture is pristine, and layout of the floorplan is SO COOL! To top it off, Keith the property manager is one of the coolest, most professional, guys you could ever deal with, plus he went out of his way to accommodate us many times and was extremely easy to contact about any questions. Directions are extremely simple and straightforward. Dont waste your time with other rental companies, use Premier Vacation Rentals for all of your rental needs!

We had a wonderful family gathering with 6 adults and 3 children (ages 9, 6, & 4). This home was perfect for our group. It was especially nice having 3 king beds since it provided plenty of space if a little one got scared during the night and climbed in bed with parents. The property was clean, kitchen well equipped and plenty of room for all. The outdoor area with the grill and fire pit was a hit. The little girls had lots of room to explore and spent lots of time playing make believe on the grounds. Customer service was professional and helpful. We were constantly busy with area activities and we especially enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding on Lake Nighthorse, as well as traveling up north for hikes and activities at Purgatory.i

The 4 BDR/ 4 BA rental worked perfectly for our family, with 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren everyone had their privacy. The house was in "like new" condition, finished with upper end materials and appears professionally decorated. The world cup was on at the time and my husband really appreciated that someone had thought to record it and there was even a box of children's toys and books in the upper living room (our grandchildren were happy about that) and we were happy that the grand children had their own place to play. Located in Wild Cat Canyon, minutes to Durango yet very private and woodsy. We saw deer walk by our window in the morning. The one problem we had was with the reverse osmosis system and it was fixed right away, we were very pleased with the customer service. Our adult children had activities planned for each day and we didn't make it through the list, so we'll have to return someday. The only suggestion I would make is a sun shade cover for the patio latilla. I would recommend this property, it was great!

This is an amazing house and was extremely comfortable for our small wedding group. It's decorated very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable, even the mattresses on the bunk beds. Everything seems new. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It's a well maintained property. We used the patio a lot, and kids played ping pong in the garage. The location is a quick 10 minutes to downtown. It's a few minutes from Lake Nighthorse but due to the fire restrictions we were not able to utilize the lake. We also couldn't use the nice fire pit either. We will definitely have to come back at a later date. We were very fortunate that this house was available to us as our original rental was evacuated due to the 416 fire. Thank you so much Premier Vacation Rentals!

We rented this home for graduation weekend at FLC. This house is amazing, modern décor in every room. It was all we hoped for and more. This house had everything we needed for our stay. Groceries is the only thing you need. Our family enjoyed its location not too close to town but close enough where you can still run into town fairly quick. The ping pong table and corn hole games were a hit with the family. We did not get to use the fire pit for it rained on the day we were hoping to use it. We enjoyed sitting on the rocks and eating dinner under the pergola. I would definitely recommend this home and will definitely rent this home again for our future trips to Durango.

The property was rented for wedding guests. It is well-maintained and spacious for five couples that were visiting from out-of-town. All arrangements through the management company were easy and friendly. Close to Durango (10 minutes), but in a quiet woodland setting. All included amenities and great value made this a perfect choice over hotels.

We spent 3 weeks in the Oak Rd. House in Durango. It had 1 br and bath downstairs and 4 br and 4 baths upstairs, along with a sitting room and balcony. There was a full gourmet kitchen with every utensil you can think of. We ate most meals outside on the patio and had a campfire in the fire pit every night as well as the obligatory S'Mores. The location is remote, yet convenient to town. The owner couldn't have been more helpful.

EVERYTHING WORKS! Which is the highest compliment i can pay. the owner is very responsive and addressed any (very minor) problems we pointed out. All TVS worked perfectly and that was a pleasure. Lots of wildlife outside, all of our guests were enthralled. Will return again!

We rented this home for our family Thanksgiving get together and it was just perfect. The location was perfect for our needs as was the house. There are 4 large bedrooms and bathrooms which worked out perfectly for us. We also loved the kitchen and family room being close together. The only drawback was the septic water. It was hard to take a shower and I didn't even attempt a bath, although the house has a beautiful bathtub, because the water smelled like rotten eggs. Not sure if this can be rectified, but it would be nice if it could. However, I'd stay in this house again due to all the other amenities. As a bonus, we had a herd of deer greet us on thanksgiving morn ing.

So glad you enjoyed the home and it was perfect for your needs. Thanks for letting us know about the sulfur smell. We investigated and found the whole house water filter, specifically designed to eliminate the sulfur smell, simply needed to have more regenerate added. We added the regenerate which eliminated the smell. We also updated our maintenance schedule so we add it before it runs out going forward. We encourage our guests to contact us during their stay to allow us to resolve any issues immediately.

Our group of 4 couples met in Durango for a week of visiting & sightseeing. This was the perfect place for us to spend time together but each couple had their own private space as well. The property was very clean & updated with everything we needed. The house is in a beautiful private spot in Wildcat Canyon but only a few minutes from town. It is in a perfect location for seeing the 4 corners area. We drove in all 4 directions visiting nearby spots like Mesa Verde, Silverton, Aztec Ruins & Pagosa Hot Springs. Keith was very helpful and we are already recommending this home to our friends. It would be a great place to stay in all 4 seasons. We are all thrilled that we had the opportunity to stay here and hope to be back soon.

The home and property was very nice. It was great to be in a quiet spot but close to town. The kitchen was well stocked which made it nice to cook in a home away from home. The house was very clean and had everything our group of 7 needed. We visited in July during a "hot snap" - as the home does not have air conditioning it was about 85 in the master bedroom every night. The other rooms cooled off better as the Windows allows for better cross ventilation, just something to keep in mind if you are not using all the rooms in the summer - the master will be the hottest and the downstairs room cooled off the best.
We had a couple questions prior to arrival and the property manager was quick and helpful in his responses.
The water, although purified, is still rather rough on the palate - I suggest bottled water to drink and cook with. The ice maker in the freezer is not filtered so you may want to grab a bag of ice for drinks.

Thanks for your feedback. We added a screen to the master bedroom deck door to help cool the room (in addition to the ceiling fan and portable fan). The home already has a state of the art Reverse Osmosis system in the kitchen which provides the highest quality drinking water. There is a filter for the whole house as well which provides quality water throughout the home.

This is the nicest house we have ever stayed in through VRBO. Everything about it was perfect from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the outdoor area. We had a great time with the ping pong table (the garage is beautiful) and being super close to town. This was our first Durango trip but we can't wait to go back. Thank you Keith and Co!

We booked for a last minute vacation, owner was very responsive and friendly. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, more than enough room for everyone. House is brand new and we really enjoyed the fire pit and playing ping pong. Downtown is less than 10 minutes away, plenty of hiking, bike riding, mountain climbing. We also visited Pagosa Springs less than 1 hour away. The privacy was a huge plus for us but still close enough to run to town. We were all very impressed and will stay again when in town.

Our family was in town for a wedding. We all live in different parts of the US so our time together is precious. This was a great home away from home. Not sure how old this property is but is seems really new. Beautiful, comfortable, roomy, well equipped both inside and out. Deer, bunnies, hummingbirds and lots of other birds right outside. We were close enough to Durango for convenience but out enough for quite and privacy. Coordination with the manager was easy and friendly. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely rent it again if we were back in Durango.

This was an exceptional place to stay! Close to Durango but far enough to feel you were in your own mountain paradise. Management was wonderful to work with. Bedrooms were perfect and the house was beautiful inside and out.

My husband and I traveled to Durango with our three adult childrren, spouses and granddaughter, to attend a wedding. The home was extremely clean, beautifully furnished and quite spacious. We enjoyed our monring coffee and evening beverages outside on this beautiful and private property. We hope to plan another family stay in this home soon!

8 of us met from AZ & CO for the iron horse race. Space for everyone!
A mountain escape very close to town. We had a great vacation in this beautiful home. Amazing kitchen, warm and comfortable living spaces and all bedrooms are spacious.

The accommodations were excellent! Spacious and clean. There were 6 in our party and we had more than enough room. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have several bathrooms. Being out of town was nice, didn't take too long to get into town.The grounds were great too!
