The home location and description are accurate and the property was clean and well maintained. The lot is secluded with a beutiful view of the mountains and trees and a creek below. It is about a 20-25 minute drive to Durango from the house but only 5 minutes to Purgatory ski resort.

We timed our winter trip as perfect as the stay was at this home! Started snowing day 1 and didn't stop hardly at all for the next 10 days. The house was exactly as described - actually, better - multi level and extremely spacious for our family of 6. We had all the comforts of home and then some - sauna, hot tub, pool table to name a few! Enjoyed so many features of a well-stocked house; huge kitchen/dining for cooking meals - loved grilling on the back deck and all the seating for tired skiers to lounge by the living room fireplace in the evenings not to mention the large bedrooms and comfy matresses.During the stay, the management team was on top of it - with the snow storm we mentioned firewood was running a little low one afternoon and by the next morning the entire cord was filled for us. We also had messages checking on us when we arrived as well as during the stay. Top notch customer service. Lastly, the location - if you're not at the resort itself - this is about as close as it gets. Coming out of the neighborhood to the main highway we could see the ski resort entrance - it made driving to/from Purgatory quick and easy (well... easy in winter as long as you have 4WD like it states very clearly for the property!) All in all one of our best stays at Purg - we can't thank Keith and all of his VRC team enough for their hospitality - LOVED IT!

As is typical in neighborhoods, the speed limit is 15mph and its a well maintained dirt road (4WD is NOT required outside of winter). All I can say is, we will be returning renters! This house had everything that we needed and more. It is so incredibly close to the Purgatory Ski Resort. The creek was absolutely beautiful gaze upon. We had a wonderful stay at Creek House! We virtual schooled and worked so we were at the house quite a bit. The internet was good, and we all had good spaces to work. The kitchen is well stocked and so nice to cook in. The laundry room with the extra refrigerator and freezer was so helpful for storing extra drinks! Our family was so excited to come ski Purgatory for the first time, however, we arrived in Durango the day the Governor ordered all ski resorts to close due to the COVID pandemic. We cancelled our ski in/ski out condo and were scrambling to come up with a plan B. After sending out some inquiries, we were contacted by Keith who helped us to find the best option for our family. We spend the week instead of skiing, playing in the snow, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing in the spa, playing pool, board games and spending time as a family. We had an incredible week, our kids say it was one of their favorite ever vacations. The house was well stocked, clean and Keith was extremely responsive to all of our needs. The views are absolutely breathtaking and none of us wanted to leave. We will definitely be coming back the the Durango area and will definitely be staying with Premier Vacation Rentals again.

Our family of 11 were quite comfortable in this well-equipped home. The creek that runs below the property could be heard day and night and we all loved sleeping with windows open and being lulled to sleep by the sound. The house was well-equipped and very comfortable. The description provided was spot-on regarding location and amenities. Our young children enjoyed being able to play outdoors and "explore" the woods on the property. When I emailed prop mgmt with a question, I got an immediate response. The only negatives - the shower in the guest bath on the second level has very little water pressure, and no one wanted to use it. Additionally, the dust on all bedroom furniture was evident and I had to clean it before my family arrived. Despite those two issues, I would recommend this property and would consider it again in the future.

Thanks for your feedback. In July 2019, we installed a 2nd hot water heater which feeds hot water into the existing tankless hot water which provides unlimited hot water with plenty of water pressure. It is a rain shower so due to the number of holes in the shower head the pressure is not as strong as traditional shower head. We also replaced the cleaners assigned to the property with the new cleaners on August 1, 2019 due to cleaning issues you noted as well as others.

The house was terrific and fit our three young families extremely well. The house was well equipped, very clean, and very comfortable. We lucked out in Feb 2019 and got an incredible storm, making the trip even better. We all hope to be back to this house as soon as possible.

This property on Lake Purgatory Drive is a great place to stay in the Mountains with a beautiful view. The owner was more than helpful and accommodating and provided great customer service! Having a family business of our own for 43 years customer satisfaction and cleanliness is a top priority wherever we we go! Furthermore, the home was very clean and stocked with everything you need (could use a few more towels for a party of 12 - had to make sure we washed every night so we would have just enough for the next evening when we arrived back). Next time we visit Purgatory, Colorado we will definitely choose this property and hope you will too!!

When you look at my ratings for this property you will find that cleanliness only received a 4 Star because as a family business owner we feel a place (including our own) can never be clean enough - always room for improvement.

We rented The Creek House for a month this summer and did not want to leave. It was perfect. The view from the patio, and almost every window in the house, is amazing. It is so quiet and relaxing and a short 10 minute drive to the ski area. And, to top it all off, Keith did an wonderful job taking care of us (especially with all of the evacuations due to the 416 Fire in the area). I would definitely stay here again.

This huge home built on a cliff has incredible views from multiple decks and rooms. It has so many features like hot tub, pool table, fire pit, gas burning and wood burning fire places. There is an awesome kids room on the top floor with a play area and the bedrooms are all kings. The master has a in suite bath with steam room. We will stay there for years to come.

If your looking for a place with space and privacy this is the one. This house is across the street from the Purgatory Ski Resort. It was well kept and clean. Keith himself available for our stay but was never needed. Thank you Keith.

Everything went well. The house is very nice and seems new. The trips to Durango were a bit long, but we preferred to be closer to the mountain. The home is very private and spacious inside. Hot tub was great for the cold weather.

We rented the house with another family. The house is big enough to allow privacy to each family. The kids loved the pool table, and the adults had a great time at the hot tub. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. It is located 10 minutes drive from the ski area. It was so much fun to return to it after a day on the slopes and get into the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay!

I reserved the Creek House as a surprise get together location for my two daughters who live out of town. I knew I had reserved a premier location by the look on their faces when they saw the house. It was a wonderful weekend! We hiked, played lots of pool, hot tubbed, slept great and enjoyed a beautiful view and the sound of the creek every morning. We roasted marshmallows at the nice fire pit each night too! We ate at the house mostly but did visit the Old Schoolhouse for great pizza. I want to do this again in the summer so we can enjoy the activities at Purgatory too. We didn't want to leave, it felt like home!

The home was a lovely retreat for a girls weekend. It was well stocked, the outdoor firepit was enjoyed and the management was easy to work with. We hope to make it an annual fall retreat.

We have rented this home before, and we truly enjoyed it even more the second time. A great get away, if you are looking to enjoy nature. Beautiful home, well furnished, and surrounded by gorgeous mountain and creek views - everywhere you look!

The Creek House is the perfect home away from home for a family get together. Not to mention the beautiful location and views! The house had everything you would need and more! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable! Keith was a pleasure to deal with. He made sure everything was perfect! !The only bad part about the Creek House was leaving!

We can't imagine living in a more perfect home for the week. It rained during most of our vacation, and we didn't even care. The home was so lovely we just sat by the fireplace and watched the rain. With four stories, there was plenty of room to spread out. One problem: We did not want to leave!!!!

This is a fantastic house! We had 8 family members aged 83 to 10 years old and everyone had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for everyone and the pool table was a huge hit. The home itself is beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is so private you forget you are only about 30 minutes from downtown Durango or Silverton. I definitely want to rent this home again in the future. Thank you for a memorable family vacation!

We had 9 people in the house for Thanksgiving week — it comfortably slept all of us and the kitchen was equipped well enough to let us cook Thanksgiving dinner. We were very happy that the rental folks recommended 4x4s for our stay — the road leading back to the house was very icy in November, and the steep driveway would've been impossible without the all-wheel-drive rentals. Only real complaint was that the internet was uselessly slow; we all had a bit of work to get done and had to do it in Durango or with hotspots from our phones. Otherwise, a great spot to vacation from — we drove easily to the narrow-gauge Durango rail station, to Mesa Verde, and (slightly less easily) to Moab to play in Jeeps.

Thanks for your feedback. We followed up with Century Link (WIFI Provider) and they indeed found an issue which decreased the speed. They fixed the problem with the line and the speed is much improved. Thanks again for letting us know so we could address it.

Our stay was very good.Great wooded area ,beautiful scenery .If you expect to run to town to eat this is not good ,but bring you food and cook even outside grill .
