All of the Cascade Village properties are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps. In late 2020 Cascade Village moved from cable TV service to all streaming services. While in-house, guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices.
Our custom built 3,000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom residence is located in Hermosa Meadows, which is the custom residential neighborhood next to Cascade Village. This residence is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory and 26 miles from downtown Durango.
This is a rare opportunity to rent a new luxury home yet have access to the free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court and a ski rental shop (with discounts) . The home is immediately adjacent to national forest land with hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, four wheeling, fly fishing and a host of other wilderness activities just out the back door.
This residence features amazing views of the Needles Mountains, the signature range of 14,000 foot peaks the Purgatory area is known for, as well as Spud and Engineer Mountains. Brand new furnishings were added in January 2023 as well as remodeled bathrooms.

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly.
The house features paved access so 4WD is NOT required on winter.
Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Durango Mountain Resort Ski Area, 26 miles (less then 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less then 30 minutes).
On-site amenities at Cascade Village include an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs and game room with pool table, foosball and several arcade games. There is also a gym, outdoor tennis court (summer and fall only), and a ski rental shop.
Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
As with all properties in the area, the condo does not have AC, given the day times highs are rarely above 80 while the lows are in the 40s. Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains, and then close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
