Located less than 10 miles from Steamboat Springs, CO, and a quick 20-minute drive from Steamboat Ski Resort, this home combines ultimate convenience with a secluded mountain getaway. This gorgeous 4,000-square-foot home - which was extensively updated in 2017 - leaves little to be desired. It features hardwood floors in the main living spaces, towering floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room capturing the surrounding scenery, a spacious dining area, and a showroom kitchen with new stainless appliances and granite countertops. Upstairs, natural light and spectacular views infiltrate the beautifully updated master bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs, there is a separate living space with one bedroom and one bathroom with its own separate entrance that provides an added level of privacy, making this home perfect for multiple families or groups of friends. The home’s other highlights include a great outdoor space with a wraparound deck, a large front porch, a hot tub, and an outdoor fire pit. There is also a 2-car garage available for guest use. This home’s picturesque mountain setting is as equally as impressive as its interior highlights. Nestled on 10 private acres against a mature pine & aspen forest, you will enjoy unobstructed views of the snowcapped Hahn's Peak and Storm Peak and unparalleled serenity.

This home is pet-friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs; the pet fee is $40/day (with a $250 maximum per stay). There is a $300 penalty for not reporting that you are bringing a pet.

Property note: As part of the authentic mountain experience, please be aware that wildlife is abundant in the area. It's not uncommon to spot local critters such as mice. We take all necessary precautions to keep the cabin clean, but the natural surroundings may bring these small visitors closer than you're used to in an urban setting.

Please note, the fireplace is not operational.

Attention winter guests: You will need a 4-wheel drive car. The remoteness of this house can create hazardous driving conditions. The roads are plowed, but it is not an instant process. Same with the long driveway for the house. We have contracted to have it cleared after every storm (4 inches or more), but it takes time for them to get it done (up to 24 hours). Please be prepared.

The house has a gas grill on the back deck.

Perfect Family Get-Away

For a multi-generational family group the design of the home was ideal. Three levels of beautiful living space meant different habits of sleeping and activities were accommodated without disruption -- everyone was happy. This was the most well-stocked homewe've ever rented -- kudos!!! Views were awesome and outdoor spaces perfect for our needs. We lpoved the sense of seclusion; yet, we were close enough to Steamboat (15-20 min.) to meet our shopping needs/deires. Scott, our property manager, was amazing -- immediately responsive and helpful in answering any questions or addressing any needs. You can tell the property is loved and maintained in ideal alignment with location and environment.

Beautiful mountain retreat! Plenty of space. The master bedroom is lovely and full off magical views. Deer visiting in the morning and evening! Definitely would stay here again

Perfect experience

This place was perfect from the second we arrived. The company running the rental was very helpful and made it extremely easy to get in and out of the property. From the minute we walked in the views took our breath away. We have a group of 10 of us that like to get away and ski for a few trips a year, and this place was by far the best experience. We had plenty of room and were not bumping into each other (there was 10 of us this trip) and each of us were able to sleep comfortably. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Cozy and Convenient Hideaway.

This home comfortably accommodated our 9 guests.
The space is segmented in a way that allows for different pockets of fun to occur.
The area is spacious and clean. The heating in the home was very easy to regulate and operate.
The hot tub was such a nice addition to our experience.

The home is just far enough from town that we felt we had a great deal of privacy and close enough that a trip into town for supplies and groceries was convenient. We had a great time at this home.
