This home had everything we needed- might consider adding a few hooks and shelves in bed/bath rooms downstairs for towels and toiletries, but otherwise a super find for a family!!

This is one of my favorite VRBOs! I went snowboarding everyday to Purg less than 2 miles away and love it! The cabin has a great spa for post boarding relaxation. Love the couch and lazy boys! Much needed after snowboarding everyday. Feels very private and kitchen is solid. I forgot my swim trunks in the dryer and host mailed them back no problem to my home. Great job by the team!

This cabin was perfect for the two of us to work out of during the day and visit Durango during the evening. Plus, it was great to only drive 6 minutes to Purgatory. The hot tub was large, hot, and private. The master bed was comfy. We’re so glad there was a washer/dry available. We’re stay here again when we come back to Durango.

My family and I stayed here for a week in late October. The little cabin had everything we need. We spent our days trying to break the ice in the pond, hiking through the trails in the backyard, enjoying the hot tub in the snow, and admiring the beautiful view of the fall trees and mountains from the porch while drinking wine and listening to our kids play in the yard. It was really truly wonderful and I hope we can make it back there one day!

Relaxing stay at a cute little cabin overlooking a small lake with a beautiful view of the Hermosa Cliffs and the forest. There were neighbors close, but we never once heard them. The view from the hot tub is spectacular. Overall, the stay was very relaxing for our family.

Our stay at the Cabin Overlooking the Pond was great. It was close to Purgatory and with the blizzard that blew in, that was convenient.

The only thing I would want to see changed is the check out time of 10:00am. Check in was at 4:00pm and check out at 10:00am which didn't leave much time on arrival day or departure day.

The accommodations were as described. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was screens on the windows so that the windows could be opened without having all the flying bugs come in. A lamp in the living room would be good too. Just because the fan light is super bright. The location is perfect and very quiet.

This was a great house for a small group of friends to go for the weekend! We like to cook so the fact that there was a grill and a fully stocked kitchen were big bonuses for us. We used the hot tub one morning while we had coffee and that was super relaxing. The house is exactly as advertised in the pictures if not cuter. It’s very clean and in a great location. The only downside we found about the house was that there weren’t any screens on the windows. It cooled down at night and it would have been great if we could have opened the windows at night. But with no screens these city kids left the windows closed. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would use this house again!

We loved this location. Great views and the hot tub on the deck at night was so relaxing. The cabin is small but comfortable, wish there was a fire place for cold nights but still was a nice place. we will most likely return to this area again for some more adventures!
