Our 4,500 square foot, three bedroom, two bath, custom log home is in the heart of the mountains and only 3 miles from historic downtown Creede.
Spectacular mountain views and aspen groves make this the perfect mountain getaway. Curl by the stunning stone fireplace, entertain your family at the large dining room table, or head out on the deck to stargaze. You can head out on your Colorado adventure on foot or an ATV from our home.

One of the home’s most unique features is the large ¾ wraparound deck with outdoor furniture, a fire pit, and remarkable 180-degree views of the Rio Grande Valley. This home is only a seven-minute drive to Creede, about 30 minutes from Rio Grande Club & Resort, and 52 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area.
Consistent with most Colorado mountain homes, the home does not offer air-conditioning.
The home is reached via paved city road, plus a 1.75 mile, well-maintained, dirt and gravel mountain road, which descends a switchback private driveway to the home. Access to this high-alpine cabin is via a steep driveway. 4WD or AWD is recommended for all-season access in order to enjoy this cabin. Winter Access requires 4WD and adequate snow tires. There is space to park an ATV/UTV trailer.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
Book at least a week, and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Year’s).
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
