Description

Our 1,450 square foot 2 bedroom / 2 bath Cascade Village condo (Unit 45) is a great family mountain escape, with a fully stocked kitchen, wood burning fireplace, two private decks and amazing views.

Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Resort, 26 miles (less than 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less than 30 minutes). Free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, ski rental shop (with discounts)!

The condo is fully furnished and offers all the comforts of home. The open living plan and high end furnishings and linens all contribute to the warm atmosphere.

Bed Configuration:

Master Bedroom- King with TV and Ensuite Bath (Upstairs)

3rd Bedroom- Queen with TV (Same level as kitchen/main living space)

Additional Sleeping Space - Double (Upstairs, access is through the master bathroom)

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly and trailers are not allowed.

Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

As with all properties in the area, the condo does not have AC. Given the day times highs are rarely above 80 while the lows are in the 40s. Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains and then close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.

We loved the unit and Cascade Village. The amenities were great, the area was quiet, and it was next to Purgatory and midway to Durango and Silverton. The property managers were attentive. We highly recommend the unit and Cascade Village.

Great Ski Condo!

Perfect balance between ski location to Purgatory, swimming for the kids, away from the crowds, at an affordable price.

Lots of room for kids to play while adults gather to talk. Kitchen is well equipped for home cooking. Plenty of room to dry ski clothes.

Very clean and well maintained. We have stayed in this same unit before and keep coming back.

Fabulous Fall Getaway

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at this fantastic condo. It had everything we needed and more! Beds were comfy, towels soft and plush, all very clean. It was the perfect home base for the Durango-Silverton Railroad and a beautiful drive into town. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!

A wonderful Condo for a special getaway

We stayed at your condo last week and had the most wonderful time. Thank you! It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed to make a very memorable stay. We did our grocery shopping at Durango, on the way up to condo and made delicious family meals. Thoroughly enjoyed drinking coffee on the terrace each morning. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well each night. We opened the upstairs bed room window at night and woke up to chirping birdsongs in the morning. The Condo has great facility: Kids swam in the Indoor community swimming pool on site, we played tennis (tennis rackets/balls provided in the condo!), within 10 mins drive, we had access to beautiful hikes, paddle boarding at Twilight lake, and alpine rides at Purgatory resort.
The host sent good directions and checked on us via text while we were there.

It was the perfect family vacation spot. Thank you!

Amazing condo with beautiful view anf well equipped kitchen

We sure hope to come back to this great, spacious condo with our family of 5. Beds, sheets, conforters and towels are top notch, kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the lovely wood fireplace during snowy days along with the gorgeous view of Engineering mountain. Laundry room was a big plus. The covered pool was enjoyable with kids. Internet in the unit was spotty which was actually a plus for adult (tech detox).

We love this condo!

We absolutely love this condo! It is quiet, warm, and has everything we need. We love that it is close to the ski mountain, but just fare enough away from the bustle to relax and connect with friends and family. We have stayed here many times and will definitely book again!

Great Location for Skiing!!!

Great place for skiing at Purgatory! Very close to the hill without being stuck in the crowds. Nordic skiing is across the street. The kids loved the hot tub & pool. The condo is very nice, all the amenities, warm and comfortable. Covered parking is great. Highly recommended.

Beautiful!

We had a marvelous stay. The condo was stocked and I appreciated not having to buy toilet paper on our drive in to the condo. The little things matter. We had a small issue with dryer and they were fast on communication. The only drawback, and this would be for all condos, not just this one, was the WiFi was not great. Overall I’d give this place 5 stars and would stay here again!

Great Views & Perfect Location

We so enjoyed our stay! The beautiful mountain views from two balconies were made even more special by the many hummingbirds in the trees. Such a peaceful setting and very convenient to spectacular hiking trails. The property is close to Durango for dining out, but the kitchen was complete for dining in as well. We highly recommend this lovely property!

GREAT LOCATION!!!

The perfect rental! Close to the ski resort, covered parking and hot tub. The condo was very clean, well stocked kitchen for cooking and comfortable for sleeping. Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Views

Property's location was exquisite. We had an amazing view from our balcony. We had heavy snowfall on our second night which made the drive up the mountain a little scary but waking up to a beautiful blanket of snow made well worth it. Can't wait to go back.

Great Location

Great location to ski Purgatory Ski Resort. Great views of the mountains. No cleaning snow off of your car thanks to the parking garage. The best stocked kitchen I have ever encountered. All beds were comfortable. I highly recommend as it was wonderful.

"Dashing Durango"!

I must say out of all our mini vacays during Thanksgiving, this was by far the best! The condo was super clean and beautiful. The view was also amazing. We enjoyed playing out in the snow and swimming.

Heaven

We LOVED the condo. The pillows beds kitchen furnishings etc. were very comfortable and "first class". We love the area, and enjoyed all the wildlife, sometimes right from our window, hiking , local watering holes, riding at Buck's fun!!!

enjoyed our stay BUT...

One of the reasons we choose this condo was because of the pool, with that being said the pool was not working the enter time we where there. Other than not having a pool the condo was very accommodating. We where very comfortable and enjoyed the condo, and the views. I was worried the it said there was no AC, but we really didn't need it.

Durango Getaway

The condo was great for our purposes. It was 30 minutes outside of Durango which we had to consider when going to town. Overall, a very nice property.

Cascade Village #45

Unit was clean, convenient location. Heat was not left on when we arrived.
It took 4-5 hours to warm the unit up to a bearable temperature. The living area furniture is not comfortable, not conducive to 4 adults and 2 children. The water pressure in the unit is ridiculously low, upstairs and downstairs. Not even enough to run a tub bath or a sink of dishes. You could not take a shower if the washing machine was running. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
