Hot Tub ~ Downtown ~ Steps to Drake Park ~ Dog Friendly ~ Fireplace ~ Bikes

We stayed at Columbia Cottage once before in October 2022. The house was and is perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The master bed and bath are comfortable and cozy with a door leading out to the lovely backyard which was carpeted in golden fall leaves. The yard has a great grass area, well maintained, which the dogs loved. Although we did not use the hot tub I’m sure it would be wonderful on the crisp autumn days and evenings. The kitchen is well supplied for preparing meals at home, which we did most nights. The little living room has a comfy couch and rocking chair with a nice fireplace for a cozy evening of watching TV. The house is in a nice older neighborhood with very easy walking access the Drake Park, the path along the River and the downtown area with all its great restaurants and shops. And the time we were there in October, the fall colors were spectacular! Wonderful little house, highly recommend!

We were delighted to stay at the Columbia Cottage for a much needed getaway. Our other accommodations did not work out that we booked elsewhere and had a really stressful arrival where we needed to find a place asap. Thankfully the team at Vacation Rental Collective called us back right away and got us in to stay at one of their lovely rentals. I can't thank you enough for your hospitality and ease for our situation. The home was perfect with all the amenities to feel at home. Location is fabulous and close to everything you could need. Thank you again for accommodating our needs and making an easy and comfortable stay.

Loved this cute cottage right in the heart of Bend. We could walk or ride bikes everywhere - even to a concert at the Amphitheater! Well equipped and comfortable, it also has a nice backyard to enjoy. Easy communication with management too. Would stay here again without question!

we really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. close to downtown with delicious restaurants. cottage was clean, cozy, had all amenities and even heated toilet seats!! we will definitely return in warmer weather to see all that Bend has to offer.

We could not have picked a better location in Bend for this 2 week vacation, which was also a birthday celebration. Columbia Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of great coffee pubs, neighborhood restaurants and the wonderful Newport Avenue Market. It is clean and cozy, well appointed with a comfortable living room and master suite. It also has a great grassy backyard, fully fenced, which our two dogs loved. The management company was helpful and prompt in responding to one minor issue which was quickly resolved. Drake Park and the river walk are two blocks away, and the downtown area is an easy walk beyond the Park, with great restaurants like The Lemon Tree and many wonderful shops (all dog friendly!) We could even walk to the Old Mill District along the river trail and enjoyed coffee and delicious goodies at Sisters Coffee, and a great lunch at Greg's. Smith Rocks State Park and Camp Sherman offered great hiking and are an easy drive out of town. When we arrived the trees were beginning to change into their fall colors, and by the time we left they were at peak--just beautiful! We even had lovely poplar and aspen trees in our backyard which turned golden during our stay. This was a perfect jumping off place for our first time explorations of Bend, and we will be back to hopefully stay in the Columbia Cottage again.

Spouse and I got away from Portland to Bend, and stayed at a great rental 2 blocks from Mirror Pond. We took in a concert at the outside amphitheater, ate in lots of good restaurants and generally rested.
