Best condo on the Mountain! You feel right at home when you walk in. Great for little ones. We had our 1 year old niece and it was a great place for her to walk around and play without worrying!

It was an awesome room and our rental guy help me with every step. Even when the hot tubs were closed he got us a membership to get in the other hot tub. Awesome room and we cannot wait for our next stay here.
There were very few complaints mainly about the ski resort itself rather than the room. Everything closes so early at the resort. The lefts close at 5 and all the shops close at 530 leaving little time to shop if you stay on the mountain all day like we do.

Melanie, Thanks so much for your stay with us and for taking the time to write a review. We greatly appreciate you. Snow came in a little late this year, but Thanksgiving is always early season. That said, it was one of the best early snowfalls we've seen in years throughout the entire Thanksgiving week and beyond. 31 inches in that week! Hot tubs at the resort were both open during your visit according to the staff there, so we're perplexed by that comment, but we're sorry if there was any inconvenience. We look forward to your next visit.

Lovely and spacious property with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the resort. Well stocked kitchen, though I wish we had been told to stock up on groceries in Durango (about 20 minutes away) before heading to the resort - there is no market and the restaurant pickings are slim (unless you like pizza).

Thanks for your feedback. There are 2 restaurants at the ski resort (one of which is a pizza place) and there are 2 more restaurants one mile south of the ski resort (one of which is a pizza place).

Our stay was fantastic despite the little hiccups with the unit loosing water pressure. All was fixed by the time we arrived. All the while Keith worked with us to try and find a replacement unit; unnecessary in the end. The unit was clean and tidy, but IMHO, the cleaning service could have done a better job. Little details nothing significant. My family had a blast and the resort is so much fun in the summer as well as in the winter. We got stuck in the elevator for an hour, but the staff was quick to help...glad the help button actually worked!

Enjoyed a great family vacation. Condo was great with room for 10. Location provided on- site entertainment for all and close proximity to Durango, Ouray, Silverton (train), and Mesa Verde.

We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years but this condo is hands down the best! Finished with quality materials, it has lots of character with the beamed ceilings, large fireplace and wall-to-wall picture windows. Every bedroom has a full, nice sized bathroom; one with a jetted tub which was appreciated at the end of the day. It's a large unit and easily accommodated six adults with two separate living areas; each furnished with a large t.v. The location was perfect as it didn't overlook the busy village center area but was a short walk to the restaurants and shops. And the views were breathtaking from the large balcony. It also has a separate, small balcony off two of the bedrooms. The unit was well stocked with pots/pans, dishes, towels, soaps, extra blankets and even some basic spices and seasonings. Laminated instructions for wi-fi and t.v. are just a couple of examples of the attention to detail. The only negative was minor complaints about the mattresses in the secondary bedrooms from my adult children. However, there are several couches which are very comfortable and could be used for sleeping if needed. Keith responded immediately to every one of my emails and was a pleasure to work with. When planning our vacation, I had debated on staying closer to the city but am so glad we chose the resort. We could just walk out the door and go for long hikes, enjoy the hot tub, and had convenient access to the on-site restaurants when we weren't grilling on the balcony. Highly, highly recommend this condo and if the owners ever decide to sell, we'd be interested!

We had the best time staying in this condo. It is really well maintained and we loved the layout. The views are really incredible, the living spaces are huge and each bedroom had an en suite bath, which made this condo our favorite place to stay this far in Durango. The kitchen is well stocked with nice knives, utensils, cups, etc. there is even a bar area for drinks with a separate fridge. The deck overlooks the base area and needles mountains. There was plenty of paper goods items like toilet paper and paper towels, and dish soap. The property manager, Keith, was very quick to respond, as always.

The views from the top floor of this resort over looking the slopes, alpine slide and other resorts on property were indescribable! Just beautiful decor and very cozy atmosphere. High recommend this penthouse unit.

We have been spending a week in the Purgatory area during the 4th of July week for the past 8 years. Eulos 719 was by far the best condo we have rented. You have to experience the views of the surrounding mountains, ski slopes, and the activities below in the village to believe them. The penthouse condo is perfect for large families because it is so large that you never feel crowded or short of space. The décor and layout are first class. Everything you need to cook meals is there, and it all works. We will definitely be back.

Our family had a very good vacation at the Durango Mountain Resort. The Eulos #719 condo was as described and worked well for our 10 family members. The resort had good activities for the kids. We unit the unit as a base camp to take day trip to explore the Durango area. The bedroom and bath with the bunk beds was not cleaned properly. It was hard to regulate the temperature thru the whole unit without one area becoming too cold. But overall we enjoyed the unit and had a great vacation.

A week with the family (6 Adults) cant go any better than the week we spent in Eulos. Easy access (1 adult wheelchair user) to everything, condo was exactly as advertised. Will definitely stay here again.

The Eolus penthouse is a beautiful,big property. We slept 8 comfortably. The separate wet bar area gave an extra place for beverages outside the kitchen. The place could use additional wine glasses. If you go, bring your own tissues and napkins.

Thanks for your feedback. We have purchased additional wine glasses based on your recommendation. While most supplies are provided (shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels etc.) we do not provide tissues.

Overall this was a beautiful place and it was updated very nicely. The views were incredible. The only issues we had were the air conditioning thermostat near the kitchen wouldn't cool and we cooked steaks in a cast iron skillet the first night and it set off the smoke and fire alarms which must be very sensitive. I called the maintenance contact regarding the air and he couldn't get anyone to come fix it for a week which was when we were departing. Also when there are multiple families, it would be nice to get two sets of keys.

Thanks for your review. This is the only property at/near Durango Mountain Resort that has AC. We were not able to fix the AC during the stay as parts had to be ordered. In regards to the keys, we advise guests to always leave the key in the lock box which ensures that nobody is locked out and the key is never lost.

The condo was perfect for 9 of us, we had a great time. We didn't use the condo for its awesome ski/board benefits, but it was still perfect. Kids went exploring outside while we hung out and baked in the warm sun through the massive windows. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. Our only wish was the drive to town wasn't 20 minutes, but over all that isn't far at all. We also took the kids on the polar express, they loved it! Super cute to see their faces light up.
