Updated Penthouse Condo at Purgatory Resort - Awesome Slope Views

Description

Just take the elevator to the ground floor and you are steps away from the main ski lift. Our 1,560 SF 3 bedroom/3 bath condo (Unit 721) single level condo is located on the 7th floor of the Eolus building which is located in the heart of the main plaza - making your vacation as convenient as possible.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots/pans etc. Additionally, there is a wood burning fireplace in the main living space (wood provided) and high speed WIFI.

Bed Configuration: Single Level

Master - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (main level)

2nd Bedroom - Queen with TV and Ensuite Bath (main level)

3rd Bedroom - 2 set of bunk beds (single over single)

Main Living Space - Pull out sleeper sofa

There is one assigned parking space on the 2nd floor of the building and additional vehicles can be parked in the main ski lots. The Eolus building features 2 hot tubs (year around) and swimming pool (summer only - kinda heated) on the ground floor).

Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals.

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Christmas at Purgatory

We stayed over Christmas in a three bedroom three bath condo. Our room was on the 7th floor overlooking the ski lifts. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked, which made it easy to prepare most of our meals there.
The location was great and allowed us to walk out of the condo, put on our skis, and get right on the lift.
We had a minor problem and management was great in helping us find a solution.
We called and asked for wood for the fireplaces, and it was delivered quickly. Be sure to ask for fire starter as well.
Our overall experience was very positive and I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to be close to the slopes, close to restaurants, and the outdoor pool.

Perfect size and location

We stayed just after New Year's and the building/resort was not crowded at all. The unit was perfect for our two families (4 adults, 5 kids) - the bunk room helps a lot for kids! Super clean, all bathrooms updated, and you can't beat the location! 100 yards walk to the express lift!

Eolus 721 Penthouse Was An Awesome Highlight To Our Vacation

This Penthouse Is Wonderful. The Views Were Spectacular. We absolutely Loved Staying Here And Keith Was The Best. Beautiful kitchen that was very well stocked. Basically Two Master Bedrooms with Super Nice Showers plus the third bedroom had two sets of twin bunk beds. We loved this place So Much That We Changed Our Plans And Stayed Four Nights Instead Of Three Nights We Had Originally Had Booked. Thanks Keith For Making Our Stay Such A Wonderful Experience. We Will Be Back ⛰⛰⛰❤️❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely the best!

We have been to this condo multiple times. It’s Fantastic. We always leave it as if it was our own. Everything is clean and well kept. There is seasonings and essential items to cook. It really has two master bed rooms and can sleep up to 10, but it gets squishy with that many. It’s really ideal at the 6-8. The only feed back, I would give is a little up keep on the spa, would be great. I will be back next year. The staff at premier vacation rentals are solid and on point. They are helpful and friendly.

Best EVER

This is our third time in this condo. Its remarkable!! You think that the more visits the more you would see wrong with the place, NOT the case. Wonderful unit, fantastic views, well maintained, great amenities, clean, clean, clean. Jacuzzi was warmed, wood was stocked. I am hesitant to leave this review because I like it so much I want to keep it to myself. We enjoy it so much we kept it clean for the next group as if it was our own. My wife and I and our three daughters a dream ski 4 night stay. Great ski instruction. Great. - we are coming back in a month. Perfect Getaway

We loved our trip. Condo was awesome. Clean, modern and great views. Definitely check the Nugget Bar down the street and Downtown Durango is cute. Cannot say enough good things about management. Very responsive and accommodated a late check out for us.

Great condo!

We had a fabulous time at the resort. Condo was plenty big enough for the 8 of us. Kids loved the bunk beds. Only wish that there was two king beds instead of one king, one queen but we knew that going into it. Condo was nice and clean. Super close to all the amenities at the resort. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only other thing I would change is that the condo does not have AC so it was hot during the day so bring extra fans if staying in August. Overall we had a fantastic trip though and would definitely stay here again.

5 star Ski in/Ski our condo with awesome views!

We thoroughly enjoyed this awesome 3 bedroom condo! It was truly Ali in/ski out! The daycare was next to the ski rental place and ski school office which was so very convenient! There are two ski lifts right outside our condo which makes it so easy in
morning and end of day too! Restaurants in the villange base were right next door and very yummy! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Had to buy coffee but filters and coffee maker were there...even sugar which was helpful! We had garbage can
right next door to unit so we could clean up after ourselves! We stored ski equipment in little room at entrance of our unit which was handy! The views from bedroom and living room and hot tub were very breathtaking! Sunrises were nice too! Hot tub was just
big enough for 4 people! Kids loved the bunk beds! Only negative was bathroom lighting in master. Recess lighting not good... but hey we still want to come back next year and reserve this unit! We loved Purgatory Ski Resort and thought this condo was perfect
location!! 5 star all the way!
