Prime Downtown Stay | Luxury 3BR Condo Steps from Main + Arcade

The Mears House is within walking distance to everywhere in downtown, and yet it is very quiet and in a cozy neighborhood. The condo itself is beautiful -- everything is provided, including a washer/dryer. I would highly recommend this condo, and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Durango!

We had a wonderful two night stay here. Location, location, location. It only took 5 minutes to walk to train station and all the shops and restaurants. We were 6 adults. It was nice to stay in a place that had 3 full bedrooms. 2 queens and 1 king master. The rest of the place was lovely too. They had a lot of extra little nice things there also.
The one negative was getting in the parking garage, the elevator, and the condo itself. Had to call the number for help many times. I will say they answered right away and were very helpful talking me through how to get in the different codes. This would not keep me from staying there again.

Loved the place, nice location, great enclosed parking for 2 vehicles, clean.
Only issue I had was the stove. The 2 knobs on the stove have been siliconed on and broke. So it was hard to tell of the gas was on or off posing a danger of not telling if the gas’s is on or off. Needs to be fixed correctly.

The location is fantastic -- the whole town is walking distance. The condo is great, well furnished/appointed, very welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The owner is very responsive, everything was great. We would definitely rent this place again.

Our host gave us great information before we arrived. Despite the directions, and we got a little confused with all the codes to get in, but within the first day, we were good to go. The beds were comfortable. The towels were plentiful and clean. We really appreciated having the washer dryer in the unit. We were impressed with the welcome packs of kitchen products and Aveda products in each bathroom which were our favorites. We bought some expensive ice cream at Coldstone and it ended up tasting like fish from the freezer. The air conditioner seemed to be struggling quite a bit, and I did notify the host of this issue. We appreciated the two car spaces for parking and the convenient, safe entrance and elevator to the unit. The kitchen was well equipped. I do agree with previous comments about this unit that the light-colored furniture could stand a cleaning. But it was nothing that really bothered us and we enjoyed the fireplace and the Arcade games. Overall, the condo offered us a wonderful location for foot exploration of Durango. To be honest, the quick responses fromthe host was much better than what we experienced with other VRBO properties. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Mears House was the perfect place for our family. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect base to explore the towns of Silverton and Ouray and mountain hikes. But, the best feature was the location...just 3-10 minutes walk to the best restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo was spacious, attractively furnished and conveniently located to all of the best that downtown Durango has to offer. The electronic entry system made it easy for each of us to come and go without any fuss. Loved the master suite and the gas fireplace! We would definitely stay here again.

The condo’s location is great. You can walk to shops, restaurants, and the River Trail easily. The condo has all the amenities you need. Garage parking is a great perk. The gas fireplace turns on with just a switch. The only exception I have is the owners should provide down alternative comforters for those allergic to down.

This condo was spacious and well laid out. It's larger than several homes for rent in the area and feels very new. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was well furnished with appliances and cookware.

Three nights in a very nice condo with all the requirements needed for a medium to long stay (except a swimming pool). With in walking distance to downtown. Well maintained and quiet. Full kitchen if required. Will stay here again if we get back to Durango.
