Cliffside Casa at Silverpick (#109) was remodeled in 2020 with all new furnishings in 2022. This great mountain escape has an open floorplan downstairs, with a large fully equipped kitchen (with crockpot and blender), wood burning fireplace and large private deck with amazing mountain views, and separate seating area under the trees. The townhome offers a washer/dryer, WI-FI, Smart TV's for streaming, cute coffee bar, deck with grill and seating, and office workspace with monitor, printer, keyboard and mouse. There is also a PlayStation 3 console and games for guests to enjoy. Given its proximity to Highway 550 and paved access, 4WD is not required in winter. There are 2 parking spaces at the condo. Guests are welcome to use the 2 cruiser bikes in the equipment storage section of the garage! The owners also added 3 portable wall-vented AC units - these are not window units, so you still have full use of all windows for cool mountain air and incredible views! There is one in each bedroom and one in the main living space.

* Upper Bedroom 2 - King Bunk Bed with TV and full bathroom

* (Note: the bunk bed is really big - we do not recommend that young children sleep on the top bunk)

COOLING: This property has Air Conditioning!

AMENITIES: The property has a shared hot tub, playground, and hiking. You can also walk or bike the 0.3-mile dirt road from the condo to the Nugget Mountain Bar - they have a food truck and indoor/outdoor seating with firepits. In the summer, they also feature live music! In the summer, a bike ride to the ski resort would be easy, too.

LOCATION: Silverpick sits at appx 8800 feet in elevation. It borders the National Forest and is about halfway between the historic towns of Durango and Silverton. This prime location is just 1 mile from Purgatory Ski Resort's entrance and approximately 25 minutes from downtown Durango, with scenic drives up to Silverton and Ouray. Enjoy both quiet privacy and the incomparable Needles Mountain views from this townhome, while being close enough to the action of Purgatory Resort where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

PETS: This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay). Pets must be crated if they are left home alone.

NOTE: There is a Ring spotlight camera over the front door - lights will turn on with motion.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

At Vacation Rental Collective, we understand the importance of flexibility for travelers when it comes to cancellations. When booking directly with Vacation Rental Collective, we offer a Moderate Cancellation Policy for this Property: A guest will receive a 100% refund if canceled/changed at least 30 days before check-in; a 50% refund if canceled/changed 14-30 days before check-in; and no refund if canceled/changed 13 days or less before check-in. If you booked on a third-party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.

THE place to stay with your pup!

This place is by far the nicest and cleanest vacation rental we’ve found that allows you to vacation with your dog. Everything was so clean and well organized with everything you need, even dog bowls . They have sleds and all the hair products (even Aveda) etc you need as well. We’ll be back for sure.

Durango Christmas vacation

The home was exactly as pictured. Great location to Purgatory ski resort and less than 30 mins from Durango. Home was clean and well stocked for my family of 4 adults and small dog. Communication with host was great. Definitely recommend this home when in the area.

A Perfect Mountain Home

This is a beautiful, clean and well stocked mountain home. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals including a fun coffee area. The 3 king beds (one bunk bed) was comfortable with nice pillows and blankets. The washer and dryer was available for guest use. We did not use the fireplace nor the hot tub but both appeared to be very nice. We felt safe staying here and the views of the mountains were great. This is a fun place to stay if you are visiting Durango but you don’t want to stay in town. We would definitely stay here again!

Friends getaway

Perfect 4 day escape to the mountains! This condo is exactly as advertised and has every thing needed for the most demanding guests! Great access to Durango/Silverton/ Ouray activities and in winter right by the Purgatory slopes. Only regret you’ll have is not booking long enough or that you don’t own it.

Great Condo and Location

The condo was perfect for our group. It looks even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed. The bunk bedroom is huge! Our family would definitely recommend and would stay here again. We came in the summer but would be an amazing location for winter and skiing. We walked to the Nugget twice for lunch. My kids loved the trails for hiking right behind the complex. We sat out on the patio every evening. Highly recommend!

Great Town House!

We go 4 Wheeling every summer and this year we needed to take our dogs with us, so we came across this gem. We normally stay at a different place up the road from the silverpick but they do not allow pets. Their loss our gain as this place is much newer and very well equipped. Plenty of room and close to everything we do. The price was very comparable and the townhouse was very spacious unlike other places we have stayed. We will book again in the future. The management company was very easy to work with and very good about keeping in touch with us, very nice to have good channel of communication.

Wonderful townhome

We stayed here because it was close to purgatory ski resort and we loved it. The townhome was clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances, plates, utensil's, ect. The rooms were wonderful and we had everything we could need. The location is great for ski’ing and the little community was very quiet. We enjoyed it a lot.

Wonderful !!

From start to finish the experience was wonderful. 5 stars in every category.This is our 2nd stay on this property because of the proximity and ease to Purgatory. Property inside and out is well maintained....including daily snow clearing methods AND they even cleared off the front porch and back patio of the snow each day. Amenities: had everything we needed. Nice touch was the availability of a computer and printer, a book about Durango, and the detailed, easy to understand property instructions (some rental properties are not as thorough.) Owner and manager were prompted with any questions we had. We definitely recommend this location to those wishing a close location to Purgatory, beautiful scenery, pet friendly, many amenities, and a clean well maintained property. Restaurant locations are few but can be found and accessed easily. Durango and Silverton are pretty much equal distances from each other in this location. The drive to Silverton is worth is a lovely drive. See you next ski season 2024.

Perfect ski retreat cabin

This place was perfect for are family of 4. Great kitchen to cook all our meals after skiing. There were spices and cooking oil which was helpful. Decor was very “cabin” like. Only thing we had to go buy is fire starters and additional wood.

New Year’s Skiing

Four adults stayed in this beautiful townhouse! It was clean, well stocked and a great location to the ski resort! Loved having the bedrooms upstairs. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! VRC made the stay easy! Access to the property and all of the information given was helpful!

Great place to stay!

We have stayed at Silverpick many times in the past. This was one of the prettiest units. If you love to hike, this is a great location. Hikes between Durango and Silverton are easily accessible. A dinner at Sow's Ear is always a highlight of our trip. Our only complaint was that there was no provision for recycling.

Great location & great views

The unit was in very good shape and was very comfortable for our party of 4. All furnishings and decor were well done. All supplies were as promised. We had an initial issue with the Direct TV, but it was repaired quickly. Note that the shower in the second bedroom is small, but workable even for a tall guy like me. Overall this was a great location to stay with great views and the unit was as advertised or better. We would do it again if we were visiting the Durango/Silverton area.

Loved the condo and location. Clean well appointed home away from home. Appreciated that the kitchen was clean and the pots pans and dishes were very nice...not leftovers from college!!! I would rent this place again...soon I hope!

Great Quiet Townhome

Location and Comfort

We have stayed at 109 in Silverpick several times and always enjoy it. The location is excellent; near the slopes, but out of the crowded resort area. We spent Christmas there this year and had a blast skiing and snowmobiling, but we have also rented it in the summer, which is our favorite time. The owners did a great job recently remodeling the kitchen and living area, giving it the feel of a new condo.
