Escape to the forest at Singer Cabin #2, a rustic 1-bedroom, 1-bath retreat tucked between Ouray and Ridgway. One of three cabins on a multi-acre property, this cozy getaway offers seclusion, mountain views, and the perfect base for exploring the San Juan Mountains. Enjoy a simple mountain lifestyle with a wood-burning stove, floor heating, and large windows that bring warmth and sunshine into the living space.

• Hiking welcomed on property (no off-road vehicles allowed)

–Good to Know–

• Evaporative cooler available in summer; keep shades drawn during the day to stay comfortable

• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening windows at night when temps drop into the 40s.

• Parking for 2 vehicles available

• 4WD/AWD required for winter stays (September–May)

• Pets are not permitted at this property

• County STR Permit #2024-073

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Just what we were looking for!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s a perfect in between location to Ouray and Ridgeway. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The bed is very comfortable and the location is private. The view of the mountains is spectacular. I would highly recommend this cabin to friends and family!

Mountain Getaway

Perfect Couple Getaway

Very Peaceful!

Nice little cabin tucked in the back corner of a nice piece of property. You feel very secluded, which was exactly our goal on our trip. Great spot between towns to visit! Host was responsive and was definitely looking to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

October Getaway

We stayed for about a week and loved it. The location was just what we wanted; close to Ouray and Ridgway but secluded in the woods. Lots of wildlife right outside the window. The weather was mild, so we didn’t need to heat the cabin but there was plenty of firewood and several space heaters available. The view from the bedroom windows is spectacular.

Ouray Whitehouse Circle 2

We loved the location of this cabin. Couldn't ask for better. A few things about the cabin worried us. The temperature was perfect for our stay. Wasn't too hot or cold. It was comfortable. If we would have went sooner the cabin would have been hot with only the provided fans to help. Unfortunately if our next trip is earlier, in June through early Sept., we would probably have to find another place with AC.

The perfect little cabin

We loved our stay. Loved that it was secluded but not too far from the main road. The view of the mountain from the bedroom is breathtakingly beautiful. Lots of open areas to walk around. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy Hideaway Cabin

This little cozy cabin snuggled in woods was a such a great place for our visit. It was roomy, and had such great views. We brought our UTV on a trailer and had plenty of room to park it in driveway every night. The location was perfect, just a few miles from Ouray, and also Ridgeway. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook meals with. It was my husband and myself, I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the Ouray area.

Cozy secluded getaway

I usually print directions, etc. well ahead of time, but somehow this time I did not. It is not easy to find, and I had to call the managers, who graciously talked me in and gave me the code to enter. It is a bit rustic, but is a beautiful, secluded, very quiet place with large picture windows both downstairs and up. It was clean and well maintained. We saw deer every day and a beautiful almost full moon from the bed at night. We preferred it to in town, which is not far.

Relaxing little escape in quaint cabin

This little cabin is perfect for a couple's getaway. Close to both Ridgway and Ouray. All necessary amenities for a secluded cabin. Will definitely come here again.

Peace and Relaxation
