Pet Friendly Home Across from Purgatory - Views - Hot Tub - On Demand Shuttle

We had a great stay and loved the house and location to purgatory. The on demand shuttle to and from the ski area was so convenient and easy. The house was very comfy and cozy and the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans and dishes you could ever need. Perfect for 2 families with kids or a larger family.

First of all, I cannot say enough good things about Premier Vacation Rentals. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend working with them. As I have rented many times through other companies, my expectations are for quality, service and efficiency all of which were exceeded by Premier. The home at 18 Nordic was just what I needed and if you are looking to ski at Purgatory has the best location directly across the highway. The kitchen was well stocked. If you are looking for a secluded spot this is not for you, but it was very nice and convenient to my kids who were all staying at Haviland Lake and accommodated us all for dinner and games. All in all it was a very nice experience and a comfortable home for the week.

Everything was spectacular from this rental. The convenience of check-in and check-out, and the ease of use the free shuttle to the mountain each morning (just 2-3 minute drive!). The house was BEAUTIFUL and had everything you could want- toiletries in the shower, condiments in the fridge, full kitchen, giant TV, and best of all the huge hot tub to lounge in the evenings. My friends and I couldn't have asked for a better time or more beautiful house and scenery. Highly recommend 18 Nordic Court to anyone!

Awesome! House was Perfect!!! Right across the street from the Purgutory Ski Resort, so much space & had everything you could need for any trip! Easy booking, checking in & out was a digital breeze. Best family Christmas we ever had! Only negative we could ever have about staying here was it is a little pricey but we did book at the last minute & wanted convenience to the ski resort so it was still perfect!

We really enjoyed the house. It was ideal for our group of 9. The kitchen and living area were spacious and with several cooks, we were able to work around the kitchen easily. Great location and we loved the easy shuttle to the mountain. I would recommend this house to any large group.

Nordic Court 18 was a perfect rental property for my family. Great location across from Purgatory Resort and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities were provided and the property management is exceptional to work with. Highly recommend this property for Summer/Winter vacations in the San Juan mountains!

The home was very convenient to slopes. The private shuttle back and forth to the ski resort was incredible. We had 10 adults in our group and the home was very spacious and fit our needs perfectly. The house was very nice. Keith was awesome to work with. I had two needs while I was there and Keith responded very quickly to my request. I would most definitely rent this home again. Despite some very rainy weather, we had a great time in Durango and the two neighboring homes we rented in the Tacoma development were outstanding. We had six guys in each house, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The scenery is fantastic, the home was extremely nice and had all the basics (linens, utensils, basic toiletries, etc.). It's a bit of a drive to town (about 25 minutes) if that's an issue for you, but you definitely get that mountain vibe and there's a fun little pizza place/bar just a mile or so down the road (Old Schoolhouse) if you're looking to get out. Property manager was great to work with, and we had zero problems.

Great place to stay with a family. The house has plenty of room for a large group and our teens loved the area to the left of the property to run, slide, and play in the snow. Definitely lots of snowball fights!!
Previously someone mentioned hot water problems, but we did not have any problems with hot water. We did lots of cooking and the only kitchen item we missed was a toaster, but other than that everything was provided. We loved having the gas grill!
The on-demand shuttle was a great convenience and we used it several times a day (to and from mountain and some days at lunch). Overall our stay was exceptional!!

The home was beautiful and well equipped. The shuttle service was on time and professional. However, we have 2 negative comments that added daily irritation. 1. The upstairs shower had less than 5 minutes of hot water. You had to take a commando shower. Meanwhile, the kids shower downstairs had a continuous stream of hot water. 2. We bought the Durango Mountain Lodge amenities because we wanted access to the private bar area. We were denied access to the bar, and only granted access to the pool and exercise room. In other words, that was money wasted. This access should be more clear on the rental page. All in all, the house was very nice, and I'd recommend it to any of my friends that like commando showers.

Thanks for your feedback. We replaced the water heater and we would have been happy to replace it during your stay had you contacted us. The VRBO listing specifically states that the optional 8% resort fee allows access to the pool, hot tub and gym at the Durango Mountain Club. Further, the Durango Mountain Club FAQ that is emailed after booking contains the same info. To get access to the upper floor of the Durango Mountain Club with the bar and game room you must stay in Purgatory Lodge.

Our house was nice, lacking some basic kitchen items but overall it was a nice house and location. For extra money you get to use the ski resort across the street which was great if you have kids, there is a pool, bounce house, zip lines and all sorts of things kids love. Our only compliant would be the lack of hot water. We had hot water in the shower for only short periods of time. This would have been okay had it stayed hot but we had thunderstorms the last three dats with temperatures plummeting about 20 degrees.

We replaced the cartridges in the showers and this has resolved the lack of hot water. There is an on demand hot water heater so there is an unlimited supply of hot water.

We had a great time at your house and thank you for sharing it with us! The 2 story layout was great. We would put the kids to bed then hang out downstairs. I would get the pass for the mountain resort if you have small children since ours loved the pool and slide. Thanks again.
