Our 1,500 square foot Cascade Village condo (Unit 29) features three bedrooms / two bathrooms and is a great family mountain escape, with a full kitchen, wood fireplace, two private decks and amazing views.
The condominium is fully furnished and offers all the comforts of home. The open living plan and high end furnishings and linens all contribute to the warm atmosphere.

Master Bedroom - King with TV (Upstairs)
2nd - Bunk Beds (Queen over Queen with TV)(Downstairs)
3rd - Bunk Beds (Single over single) (Upstairs)
Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly.
Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Resort, 26 miles (less than 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less than 30 minutes). Free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court, and a ski rental shop (with discounts).
All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.
As with all properties in the area, the condo does not have AC, given the day times highs are rarely above 80 while the lows are in the 40s. Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains, and then close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Good just missing some info due to Covid

We love the place. Very clean and in a great location. I know that some things changed due to the covid mandate. I would of liked to know ahead of time that the gym and the pool were closed since that was the initial reason we book here. Other than that everything was perfect!!!!

Perfect location and comfortable stay
Condo is well kept and has all the comforts of the house. My family of 4 had a wonderful stay. We had everything we needed there, from well equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms and spacious storage space (closets, chests of drawers, plenty hooks to hang your jackets or backpacks). After hours of hiking and see-sighting we enjoyed relaxing by the fire place, watching movies and playing games (even though we brought our own, we liked a little collection of movies and games provided in the condo). In the living room there were updated brochures about many of the local attractions with maps and phone numbers etc. and they were quite useful.
Views from 2 balconies - spectacular and the same wonderful mountain view when you seat at the dinning table or cook your meal. Perfection!
Parking garage is covered. I can imagine it is fantastic in winter, not to have to deal with snow covered car.
Cascade Village has a great location, not only picturesque but close to many trails, activities and attractions.
I liked this place a lot and I am considering coming back next year.

The Unit was located in a perfect location centrally located between Silverton and Durango. The unit was in great condition, clean and well equipped. My two kids enjoyed the pool and fitness center.

Exactly as described!
We had a really great time at this facility. The condo was exactly as described and included pretty much every single amenity we would ever need. I say almost b/c we brought our Keurig coffee pot from home when I found out there was only a regular coffee pot there. Yes, it's strange, but it's what we chose to do. The condo was clean with plenty of towels and extra linens as needed. We had 5 kiddos with us--age 17 & up, and we all had plenty of space to enjoy meals and play board games. I would strongly recommend this condo to anyone interested in staying. It is the PERFECT location for those wanting to come and ski...very close and the free shuttle makes things very easy. Final comment...the WIFI could stand to have a stronger signal (i.e. more data usage per minute)....When you have multiple devices being used, it slowed down SIGNIFICANTLY.

Located just out of town

The location of cascade village was perfect to get over to ouray and Silverton. The house was beautifully decorated and had all of the items we use on a regular basis. Make sure to get groceries at Albertsons or Wal-Mart before heading to the house. It’s about 35 minute drive into Durango. It was away from the traffic which I liked. The pool and hot tubs we a hit with the kids. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Great skiing at Durango

The property was easy to find and close to the resort. Everything was as advertised. Property was clean and well appointed. There plenty of towels and the kitchen stuff was in good shape and easy to cook with. TVs were modern and internet was sufficient. The shuttle to the ski resort was convenient. There are not as many restaurants close as I would have expected. It would be nice to have a small grocery store close instead of having to go to Durango. But we had fresh snow everyday and had a great time.

We had a great stay at Cascade Village in condo #29. There were some nice amenities (3D TV for the kids) covered parking and a nicely equiped kitchen. The location was convenient to skiing and having the ski shop (rental) at Cascade Village was a plus.

We came across this beauty by chance planning a last minute Christmas getaway. My husband, our son & his 2 best friends. When we arrived at the condo we were simply blown away. The work & love put into each part of it were just wonderful. All of the little extras they include (endless firewood, fully stocked kitchen, a pantry with items you may have forgotten). We boarded at DMR during the day & enjoyed coming home to the amazing fireplace & jacuzzi tub every night. I highly recommend staying here, we had zero complaints, concerns or worries. It is a true mountain getaway with beautiful touches.
