Exceeded expectations

Home was spacious, clean, and had more than what we needed. Used the humidifiers throughout our stay, loved the floor heaters as well as the steam shower. Will definitely look to stay here again for skiing. A bit of a walk to the slopes so not able to truly ski in and out but the property was worth it.

We have rented multiple times around the resort and this condo was one of the best. It's a great location to resort, great views, and the perfect layout for 3 families. The manager provided great customer service and reacted to our requests immediately.

We have come to purgatory resort many times. We loved this townhome. These are the best views that we have had of any place that we stayed. The accommodations were wonderful. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. We will definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking views

The house is absolutely beautiful and the views are more than expected. This property is top notch. We arrived and it was clean and set up for us. Check in was seamless. The only issues I had is that house sleeps 10 and there were not enough towels to go around. Also, for the size of this house, the hot water heater should be larger. You definitely have to schedule showers, laundry and dish washer time or you will be upset. Other than that, we had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone and I loved the 4 bathrooms

Beautiful Purgatory Retreat

We had an amazing time at this rental! The property had a wonderful “cabin feeling” with beautiful picture windows with views of the valley, adjacent pond and mountainside. You feel like you are in the tree tops. The property was well appointed from kitchenware and linens to heated floors and snow sleds! Walkable you Purgatory Lodge/ mountain activities. A short drive to hiking trails and the perfect “in between” location from Durango and Silverton. Communication was excellent from management/owners and our rental experience was seamless. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely Sep Stay
The home had gorgeous views and was comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking instruments, and utensils. It was also clean. We would stay again. The only thing we would avoid is labor day weekend when they hold the motorcycle event. There was a constant parade of noisy motorcycles all day Sat and Sun.

This is by far the best VRBO we've stayed in, has everything you need! You can't ski to or from the slopes but the walk is very short.

Great property! It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Walk to the slopes, although the walk home at the end of the day is uphill, so save a little energy! Beautiful views and lots of space. Highly recommend!

More beautiful than the photos!

This rental property was one of the best we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. There were so many amazing special touches in every room- from tons and tons of pillows to every appliance you might ever need to a relaxing steam shower to heated bathroom floors to a washer and dryer with speed cycles, the list goes on and on. The view was outstanding day or night. The stars were absolutely gorgeous! The location is perfect for quick trips to Durango or gorgeous drives to Ouray. We stayed in the early fall but the location is perfect for winter skiing as well. There is a full garage for your vehicle. The property was obviously new remodeled and spotless. I only would suggest two small things, more comfortable seating on patio and a full length mirror somewhere in the house. We truly had an outstanding stay and will be back! We had an amazing time in Purgatory. We were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the home was! Perfectly appointed. Walked to everything and utilized the pool. The views were amazing and we loved waking up to that everyday! Cannot wait to return!! We have already sent the link to friends and told them this is definitely where they should stay!
One note would be: please add door locks to the master bedroom and bathrooms 🙂

Wonderful Townhouse
Wonderful townhouse in the resort. Inside was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Location is perfect for walking to the pool and lifts. The rental had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our time. Views are great and very quiet. Be sure to get a ride in at Buck’s Livery. We would highly recommend this townhouse and will be staying again.

Great place to stay

This place was a great place to stay. It was clean, organized and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens. The heated floors were a nice bonus and the steam shower in the master bedroom was amazing. It was roomy and the beds were very comfortable. Our girls loved the room with the bunk bed, it worked oi great! Beautiful views from the back decks and in a great location, just a short walk down to the slopes. The home was clean and as described with the beautiful view. The furniture and design was very nice. We really enjoyed being able to cook a home cooked meal and playing the board games they have. We took advantage of the amenities at the resort. Everything was above what we expected. Way better than staying at a hotel.

Beautiful home with all of the amentities

My family and I loved staying at this townhome during spring break. It was within walking distance to the base area which made it very convenient. Not only was it decorated impeccably, it had almost any amenity that you could want. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans. The sheets on the beds were so comfortable. And, don't get me started on the steam shower in the master bath. It was just what I needed to combat the dry air and my sore muscles. The view is one of the best in the resort area. Almost every window features views to the east of the mountains. We would definitely stay here again. Also, I have to give kudos to Keith Brant. He is one of the most responsive people I have ever worked with when renting a property like this. It was a great experience!

Christmas Break Ski Trip

Great location and very nicely decorated. Has a small 2 car garage that was perfect to stage all of our ski stuff. Bedrooms were good sized and each had its own full bath. The unit had a washer and dryer and the kitchen was fully stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay!
This place is really spectacular. The views from the back windows are as pretty as anything you will find in this area. We enjoyed being up at Purgatory - it was close enough to Durango for the stuff we wanted to do there but closer some beautiful hikes in the mountains. Our kids had fun in the pool and doing some of the activities at Purgatory (alpine slide, ropes course, etc.) I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect Winter Vacation

This home was the perfect place for our family to enjoy a week in the mountains. We skied, snow shoed, and loved watching the fireworks on New Years Eve. It has been recently remodeled and is beautiful and the owners have thought of everything you might need. The views are amazing...loved looking at the mountains from the dining room. Also appreciated a garage for the car. I would highly recommend this property.

Spectacular Mountain Retreat with all the amenities!

So impressed the moment we walked in the door! The view (especially from the Master Suite is nothing less than breathtaking! It was so quiet and away from the activity of town, yet convenient for skiiing, hiking, getting to Silverton and just plain old relaxing. The place is perfect for large families especially with a number of children, plenty of places for them to 'hang out' and have fun, yet providing a great place for adults to relax and have some peace and quiet. All the amenities worked great, all seemingly new. For example, The Master Suite is decked out, no cheapey comforters, it's first class all the way. You'll see. Hey, we found out the last day that the recliners in the living room are power! Ha Ha! Found that out the last day! We had 6 adults stay and we were rattling around inside this place! Thanks for everything!

Great location. Just beware of the falling ice from the roof. A big chunk of ice fell from the roof and broke the mirror on our truck. Could have been catastrophic if it hit someone on the head. Otherwise great place and very convenient for easy access to the lifts.
