All of the Cascade Village properties are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps. In late 2020 Cascade Village moved from cable TV service to all streaming services. While in-house, guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices.
Our custom built 3,000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom residence is located in Hermosa Meadows, which is the custom residential neighborhood next to Cascade Village. This residence is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory and 26 miles from downtown Durango.
This is a rare opportunity to rent a new luxury home yet have access to the free on-site amenities at Cascade Village including an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table, outdoor tennis court and a ski rental shop (with discounts) . The home is immediately adjacent to national forest land with hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking, four wheeling, fly fishing and a host of other wilderness activities just out the back door.
This residence features amazing views of the Needles Mountains, the signature range of 14,000 foot peaks the Purgatory area is known for, as well as Spud and Engineer Mountains. Brand new furnishings were added in January 2023 as well as remodeled bathrooms.

Master - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (2nd level)
2nd Master -King with TV and Ensuite Bath (Main Level)
3rd Bedroom - King (2nd Level)
4th Bedroom - 2 sets of bunks bed (single over single) (2nd level)
Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Cascade Village, are NOT pet friendly.
The house features paved access so 4WD is NOT required on winter.
Cascade Village is less than 2 miles north of Durango Mountain Resort Ski Area, 26 miles (less then 30 minutes) north of Durango and 25 miles south of Silverton (less then 30 minutes).
On-site amenities at Cascade Village include an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs and game room with pool table, foosball and several arcade games. There is also a gym, outdoor tennis court (summer and fall only), and a ski rental shop.
Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
As with all properties in the area, the condo does not have AC, given the day times highs are rarely above 80 while the lows are in the 40s. Open the windows after the sun is behind the mountains, and then close them in the morning along with the blinds that face west. This will keep the house plenty cool.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Durango Getaway
We had a few families with kids and this place was fantastic. Durango resort is nearby, while not all the activities were open yet, there was still items to do. There was plenty of wildlife and scenic places very close. The pool facility worked well, would be better if it was open a few hours later in the summer but it was nice for the kids. Everything was easy for access and there are a number of games and activities provided in the house.

This property has everything you could possibly want for a wonderful time away. It was a little noisy due to construction but the view and incredible weather made it worth it! We would definitely return to this property as long as they don’t overbuild in that neighborhood!

Great Home Near Purgatory

I went on a one-week vacation with my three older sons to the Purgatory area. The home was great, in a super location, and fit our needs exactly.
The home itself is conveniently located less than 2 miles from the resort. It is fully stocked, is quite comfortable and has great views. The management company handled everything seamlessly and I have zero complaints.
The home is 24 miles north of Durango, and 22 miles south of Silverton. Both towns are great and fun to explore.
There are dozens of hiking trails near the home as well. We explored four different trails that were challenging and fun.
I would highly recommend this home for just about anyone.

My family of 7 stayed here for 5 nights in July. All I can say is WOW! The location is just beautiful, the home was clean, the amenities were perfect, we truly felt at home. Everything was just as described! I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives. During our stay, we enjoyed a few beautiful local hikes, the Durango-Silverton train, Purgatory activities, dinner at Sow's Ear (fabulous)! Family time during Covid-19
We were able to gather our family from Houston and Salt Lake and spend a week together. The location of this place is close to hiking trails, rock climbing, and mountain biking, all of which we participated in and enjoyed. Most of all the rental has plenty of space to spend quality family time with not only outdoor activities, but cooking and playing games together. We would definately be willing to meet up again and enjoy all of these activities once more.

We went to Ouray, Silverado, Durango and Telluride during our stay.
we had 3 couples and had plenty of room and privacy. Front porches were great for cocktails and cooking.

This house was perfect for our group of 12. Plenty of space to spread out and it gave the kids plenty of space both in and out to play. The location worked great as we wanted to head up to Silverton and out to Mesa Verde, so it was somewhat in the middle. The kids loved the pool to burn off the extra energy. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this house!

Ideal San Juan Skyway Retreat

We were looking for a rental house that accommodated a large group (8-10) with easy access to US 550 and the rest of the San Juan Mtns. This property delivered this and more, with stunning front porch views and quality amenities (access to nearby condo community center was a plus). As a "base camp" and a retreat in and of itself, it exceeded our expectations!

Dream Vacation Spring Break 2017

We took this vacation with my family, my parents and my sister's family. In total there were 6 adults and 6 children ages 7-13. Leading up to the trip the property manager was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. Upon our arrival we were blown away with the location and views from the home. We immediately picked our rooms and everyone had ample space and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The house was well supplied with wood for the fire place, cook ware, ping pong table, books, and games. We shopped in nearby Durango and cooked most meals in. There was plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc...for the 12 of us, as well as seating for all of us to dine. We were able to wash our clothes to have dry clothes to ski each day at Purgatory only a couple miles away. There was plenty of space for the kids to play in the yard and the house without disturbing any neighbors. Also included was entrance to the Cascade Village indoor pool and exercise facility which we used several nights. Overall it was homey and the furnishings were clean yet family friendly. When we go back to Colorado we will definitely be contacting this agency again and would love to stay in this location!
