Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo (Unit 2F) is all about its exceptional location in the heart of downtown Durango. Walk to all downtown area restaurants, shops and entertainment, or explore the nearby trails with 1000+ acres of City owned open space featuring mountain biking and hiking trails only minutes away. It is located immediately next to East by Southwest restaurant, one of Durango's finest and most acclaimed dining establishments, and only one block from the famous Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot and Durango's downtown movie theater.
In addition to it's exceptional location, the amenities this condo features are unmatched! From a pool table and ping pong, to a 4-screen TV wall and multi-arcade game, this condo has everything you could dream of in the way of entertainment. The Main Living space is a top notch game room. Lifestyle in this condo is like staying at a luxury resort with dining and entertainment options of the highest quality just a short walk out the front door. This Property features a high-end luxury finish with ash wood flooring throughout, 4K televisions in the living room and two of the bedrooms with full cable, fully appointed kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The building has electronic security and elevator access to all levels with secure, fully-enclosed underground parking for two vehicles. Simply park your car and leave it there while you walk outside to enjoy all the Durango has to offer!

Master Bedroom - King Bed with TV and Ensuite Bath (main level)
2nd Bedroom - King Bed with TV (main level)
3rd Bedroom - Bunk Bed (Double over Double) (main level)
Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units in the Mears Building, are NOT pet friendly.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Amazing house!
The house overall what perfect for our stay. We did a trip for a family wedding. It was nice to be able to relax in between events and enjoy the space.
The location was amazing! I loved walking over to the local coffee shop and enjoyed shopping downtown and enjoyed local shopping.
The room with the bunk bed was very cold, we were happy there were extra blankets to snuggle with.
The security to get in and out of the building was a little stressful, but we felt safe once we found our place. Be prepared to park and walk unless you can utilize the parking garage in the basement.
The night life was nice to partake in and in walking distance. Be prepared to hearing people walking outside after sundown.
Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the stay!

Impeccable Rental!!!

A completely OUTSTANDING PLUS vacation rental. The Mears House location was in the perfect spot - close to everything and very affordable for our group of four. Upon entry, the condo is immaculate and impressive. Everything was as described. The rooms were spacious and the condo was stocked with everything you would need and plenty of it. Entry and access were made simple and worked flawlessly. We made good use of the entertainment available in the unit and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish it was longer. If we could give this property and the support from the Vacation Rental Collective more than 5 stars - we would. Absolutely without exaggeration, the best vacation rental we have ever had and this is coming from a Retired veteran of 32 years in the Army. There is nothing that could be done to improve this experience and I will gladly rent from the VRC again. Exceptional customer service and exemplary support from a truly professional group of people who care for both the property and especially the customers. Do not change a thing! We will be back.

This unit was excellent- comfortable beds, parking included, close to town, fully stocked, and had plenty of entertainment. I would highly Rec come to this vrbo to anyone looking for a group rental. We loved that the kitchen had an ice machine- perfect for staying cool in summer or endless cocktails.

Awesome Rental
We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one was the best by far. The unit itself was a great size, very clean and the kids loved all the games. The location was also perfect. We parked the car in the garage and hardly used it all week. Groceries, coffee, restaurants and bars were all convenient. We usually prefer to try different vacation destinations and don’t repeat places we have been, but the whole family wants to come back to the Mears House soon.

Had a WONDERFUL time! The condo was perfect for all ages. We did a family trip with kids ages 10-22 and all levels got full use of all the games the condo offered. So convenient to everything, we walked everywhere.The kitchen was stacked with staples, so you didnt have to buy spices, oils, etc. We will be back!Staff was also very helpful:)

The Mears condo is everything it is advertised to be and more. The layout worked well for 5 adults and LOTS of toys filled every down moment. We loved that we were close enough to walk to everything! Great food, fun shopping, breweries, activities, and more. Can't wait to go back!

Loved the condo. It had everything we needed. Location was perfect. Definitely would recommend and stay again. We did have a little trouble with the access codes not working until the second or third try, but we always managed to get in.

Excellent!!! Great location, quiet, and above and beyond communication from Keith with any questions we had while there. Would stay again for sure! The beds were all very comfortable, which isn't always the case. Well equipped kitchen and large enough to cook a big meal.

The location is one of the best you will find in Durango. It is central to everything. The accommodations were easy to access and the fact that we didn't have to keep track of keys made our stay worry free. I appreciated the two parking spots and the cart to help us move our mountain of groceries into the condo. The management company was friendly and the phone app was super helpful with keeping us informed with what we needed to know about the unit. The condo was spotless when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. We were there in the summer and I think that being on the ground floor was good for keeping the unit cool.

Great for Our Family
Our family of 5 stayed at this property and it was great. The kids had a space of their own while we also had privacy. The convenient parking made things even better so that we could enjoy our time walking downtown instead of driving in circles. The management team helped make our stay easy and we would stay here again for future trips to Durango.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Durango and Mears Unit 1A was perfect for our family of 6 including 2 little ones who loved the bunk beds and toys provided. On site parking a big plus. The condo is exactly as shown and the downtown location great for walking to shops and restaurants. Outstanding and responsive customer service from management. Comfortable, spacious, great location

My second time staying in a multi-room rental in this building, my first time in this one. It didn't let me down. Came with 5 people total. We planned on some cooking in the unit and eating out as well. It did not disappoint. The kitchen is plentifully stocked. It is a ground floor unit which made bringing our bikes into the unit much easier than the 3rd floor we had in the past. The balcony is small without much of a view but none in this building have such. The master suite is quite large as is the master bath. I heard no complaints from the 3 others that shared the second bath; though I presumed a 3rd bath would be preferred. The unit is lovely, clean, comfortable and ideally located. You get 2 underground parking spots that while tight are appreciated.

From the moment we walked in we knew this condo was going to work perfect for us. We rented this condo to accommodate our family for our Christmas holiday. We were a family of 6 plus the 2 kids that actually live in Durango but joined us daily for food, fun, and games. The large bedroom with the bunks was perfect for our son, wife and grandaughter. We were pleased with the toiletries that were provided inch bathroom. One bathroom was missing a hair dryer but that was no big deal. We were thrilled that the condo had a tree and some Christmas decorations. The
entire condo was very clean. We did do a lot of cooking and found the kitchen very well stocked for our large family. We had a large table and plenty of chairs for our Christmas dinner. We loved the location and we were able to walk everywhere. Many restaurants, stores, train, grocery store and a post office that helped us ship home some gifts. The fireplace added to the warm and cozy atmosphere. When we were worried that we might be out of toilet paper and laundry detergent it arrived within the hour on Christmas Eve. I would highly recommend staying at this location. We hope to come back for our son's wedding in July.

My family stayed in this beautiful condo in Downtown Durango to celebrate together in Dec 2017. The condo is spacious and nicely appointed. There is plenty of seating for meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. There were a couple issues with a non-working toilet and a broken shower door that were addressed the day we made the owner aware. The condo is right downtown, walking to restaurants,bars, coffee and shopping. We love Durango and will likely use this unit again if we are able!
