Our cute 336 sqft studio condo in the Kendall Mountain building (Unit 545) offers the ultimate convenience in winter or summer as it is located in the heart of Purgatory Village only steps from the primary high-speed lift to the top of the mountain, the Purgatory Express. Nice mini kitchen with stainless appliances, walk-in shower, cozy fireplace in living area. The kitchen has 2 small fridges (one of which can be converted to a freezer only simply by adjusting the temperature), 2 stovetop burners, microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, coffee maker (regular drip and k-cup machines), and tea kettle. A new memory foam topper was added to the queen bed in December 2022. There is also a sound machine on the nightstand.

The condo is located on a single level on the 5th floor (elevator access) of the Kendall Building. The Kendall building also features a hot tub on the roof with amazing views of the Needles Mountain range.

RESORT CLUB ACCESS: For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

PURGATORY SKI MOUNTAIN LOCATION: This condo is located at Purgatory Ski Resort in the San Juan Mountains. Purgatory is 25 minutes north of downtown Durango and is known as a family-friendly ski resort. It has 105 trails, including 5 terrain parks, over 1,500 skiable acres and 12 lift. The resort boasts an average annual snowfall of 260 inches. Purgatory Resort offers a variety of activities and amenities that cater to families, including ski lessons, childcare and a variety of restaurants. It is a more affordable option that some of the other ski resorts in Colorado, has a good mix of terrain for all ability levels, and stunning views. If you're looking for a resort that offers something for everyone, staying at this condo at Purgatory is a great option!

SUMMER AT PURGATORY: Purgatory boasts a bike park accessible by chair lift, an alpine slide, mountain coaster, and treasure panning. There are also hiking trails, jeep tours, and watercraft rentals on Twilight Lake. Purgatory hosts various events throughout the summer, such as live music concerts, festivals and bike races.

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units in the Kendall Building, are NOT pet friendly.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Perfect Location & Spacious Condo

We were not disappointed by this top floor studio condo. Walking down the hall to the rooftop hot tub, sauna, and steam room was a perfect way to start our mornings and unwind in the evenings.
Just take the elevator down to the first floor, and you are greeted by a very convenient market before walking out to the slopes.
The condo had everything we needed. There was plenty of closet space to unpack our winter gear. The Queen Murphy bed was extremely comfortable, as well as the futon. Plenty of blankets and extra pillows and linens are provided.
There are shoe racks by the entry door to kick off your snow boots and a wall heater to defrost your gear.
The fireplace was a lovely addition to have, as well! Plenty of firewood was provided.
The Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishwater, and we had plenty of cleaning supplies for our stay.
This was my first time to Purgatory, and the location was great. We spent some days exploring the neighboring towns and shopping in Durango, which was about a 25 minute drive.

Nice Place

Nice little room, perfect and cozy. You only have to walk through one building(which takes less than 30 seconds) and you are right at bottom of the mountain with the lifts.

Perfect Ski-in/Ski-out Location for a weekend Getaway!

We had a great stay in this unit! It was clean and well stocked, and the ski-in/ski- out location was perfect. It was the ideal stay for a quick weekend get away at Purgatory Resort! We would highly recommend this unit to our family and friends!
