This home sits on almost 2 acres nestled at the base of Castle Rock adjacent to hundreds of acres of public land and the Elbert Creek Hiking Trail out the back door. This home offers an authentic glimpse of Colorado living with its stylish renovations, and its all-around comfort in an unmatched setting. Located less than 3 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and a 20-minute drive to Downtown Durango, this home combines ultimate convenience with a luxurious mountain getaway.
This gorgeous 5,500 square foot home leaves little to be desired. The jewels of this home are its towering floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room and master bedroom which capture the surrounding scenery, its reclaimed hardwood floors, three fireplaces, spacious dining areas, and a showroom kitchen. Natural light and spectacular views infiltrate the beautifully updated master bedroom and bathroom. Downstairs there is a separate living space, 3 twin beds and a bathroom with its own separate entrance that provides an added level of privacy making this home perfect for multiple families or groups of friends.

The home’s other highlights include a great outdoor space with a wraparound deck, a fire pit, large front porch, a hot tub, and fooseball table. There is a 2-car garage available for guest use and there is a washer and dryer on both the main floor and the ground level.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Tons of space

The house was very spacious and clean. It was a great midway spot between Durango and Silverton. Gorgeous views, hot tub was fantastic. Only downsides were the pillows and a bit musty smell from the basement game room. Management were easy to get a hold of and responded quickly to any questions/issues. Definitely would stay again.

Wow! What a great stay!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home! Best part - a bathroom for each bedroom! AND a wonderfully stocked kitchen! - plenty of Good pans to choose from, plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, bowls. And Wonderfully - plenty of seating for meals! The hot tub was a bonus! AND most appreciated was the awesome contact during the week with the property management company! They checked in to make sure all was good and we were settled. If we get back to this area again, we WILL rent this house! It was perfect!

Awesome vacation rental near Durango, large beautiful house.

Our family of 10 people stayed in this incredible property for a week. We highly recommend it. The house is beautiful inside and outside. Kitchen is fully stocked and even some shareable goodies in the pantry. We ate all our meals at the house because the kitchen was so specious and the dining room fit our family so comfortably. Instant hot water at every faucet! Plenty of towels and bath essentials. The Hot Tub was great for the cool evening after a day of hiking and star gazing was superior. Fun things to do in Durango, just 30 minutes away and the Silverton Train was a favorite. This grandma got 5 stars for renting this house and the kids and grandkids left with wonderful memories of spending time together.

Great house for big groups
The pictures of the house are accurate and up-to-date. We found it spotless when we checked in and really appreciated how clean every room was in light of covid. There's space to spread around when folks need a break from their loved ones as well as great seating areas for coming together as a group. We spent most of our time on the great decks and in the hot tub. The Elbert Creek trail is literally on the back yard and was an awesome hike with the crew (go early and you won't see anyone else). The only negative was the pillows. I forgot mine and the ones at the house are not that comfy. The rental company was quick to respond to any concerns. The house is about a 20 minute ride to town, 5 minutes from Purgatory and a beautiful, totally worth it, 1.5 drive to Ouray. All in all, we had a wonderful time and loved the house.

While the house was everything we hoped and expected it would be, the service from the Premier staff was what impressed us the most. Any question we had, they answered it promptly and any request we made, they took care of it as quickly as possible.

We had a great time! The house was in a great location, secluded, and provided ample space for our entire family (10 on the trip). We loved the mountains, visiting Durango, Purgatory, and Silverton were all part of our trip, along with hiking, white water rafting, and riding ATV's to California Pass. I would highly recommend the home and vacation location.

Awesome experience on all aspects: incredible views from front porch and hot tub, great hike just outside the back gate, easy access to Durango Train, great bedroom and bath combos for 4 adult couples and kiddos, and plenty of space in living/dining areas to play games, hangout with grandkids, etc.

Wonderful Home and Location

We stayed for a week of skiing during Spring Break. The house worked out perfect for several families with children. The large living areas allowed for people to spread out, and the lower level kids room was great for kids to play games, watch movies, and have a hangout space separate from the adults. The location is great with the Ski Area just a couple minutes away and the views are amazing. The kitchen was very well stocked, and there was never a shortage of towels or linens. I have rented through Premier before, and they have always provided prompt responses and are quick to address any issues that arise. We will definitely stay hear again on a future trip.

Spectacular Home in a Dramatic Location
Our extended family (16 people) shared this spectacular home as part of our vacation. The house was recently renovated and it feels like it is new. The decorating is charming and there are many nice touches throughout. The property is right alongside a hiking trail leading up into the mountains. There are great views from the front of the house. The window seating areas, soaring ceilings, and outdoor spaces were all especially nice.

Wonderful Mountain Home
We had an excellent time staying at this beautiful property. The home has a wonderful layout with the master wing separated from the main living area and all of the rooms having attached bathrooms. We arrived to a clean and well maintained house that had everything we needed and more. The views from the property are stunning. Our first full day we were unexpectedly snowed in and appreciated the well stocked wood pile and closet of board games. We were even able to walk down the hill to the corner shop to stock up on more snacks. Our toddlers loved playing with the sleds that were in the garage. We were a little concerned about having the dirt driveway plowed but the property management company was very easy to reach and assured us it would be plowed. Despite the snow we had a wonderful vacation and thoroughly enjoyed Durango. Some of the local attractions we enjoyed were Santa Rita Park, the fish hatchery, and the Durango Recreation Center. We realized after we left that a very sentimental necklace accidentally got left behind. We were able to contact the property management and cleaning company and were very pleased that they found the necklace and mailed it back to us. If you are considering staying here, book it! You and your family will be very comfortable staying here and won't regret it.

This is a must rent with a big family or group!

We had an absolutely amazing trip, experience and memories made in this GREAT house. The views, priceless. The home and all the new decor, make you feel at home. Blankets to use and sit around the main room and put a fire on while playing games. Seating for enough to actually have dinner together and not be spread out all over the place. FEEDING 11, 3 ovens and a microwave came in handy. And to add, a huge cooktop for breakfast. We had 11 people total and it worked perfect for our mix. Younger kids to teens have a great room downstairs to sleep in and have their own game fun and TV time if adults need a break. The communication was excellent and house was clean and has about everything you need, and beyond that. Great for a big group or family, oversized for a party of 4 or 6.
YOU MUST LISTEN TO THEM WHEN THEY SAY YOU MUST HAVE 4X4 OR CHAINS. WE GOT 2 2x4 CHEVY SUBURBANS STUCK AND AN AWD FORD EXPLORER STUCK THE FIRST NIGHT. IT' NOT A JOKE - NO 4X4, NO GETTING UP THE HILL!
