Perfectly modern, rustic, and perched on the bank of the South Fork River, this idyllic getaway will be the perfect place to bring the whole family. Step inside, and you will immediately be greeted by the warm wood accents, large, picturesque windows viewing the river, and the comfortable furnishings that await in the living area. The two-story layout will give every guest a sense of privacy when needed, yet its open design is perfect for guests to gather around the large dining room table, perfect for meals or game nights. The deck overlooks the Rio Grande River and is ideal for morning coffee or a glass of wine when the sun begins to disappear behind the trees.

Though this getaway offers a perfect mix of privacy and seclusion, you will have the conveniences of town within a hop, skip, and jump from your front door. When everyone builds up an appetite from hiking or river activities, local hubs such as Two Rivers BBQ Restaurant, Tavern & Coffeehouse (a local favorite), Ramones Mexican, and Mountain Pizza & Taproom will hit the spot in nearby South Fork. Guests can enjoy the close proximity of the Rio Grande Club & Resort with golf play and two restaurants open to the public, offering amenities and facilities available through three membership plans. If a ski day is on the agenda, don't hesitate to take the scenic 25-mile drive south to Wolf Creek Ski Area, as it is more than ready to assist in making the best memories for all experience levels!

Vacation Rental Collective has the perfect South Fork Vacation Rental, South Fork Cabin, South Fork AirBnB, or South Fork VRBO for you and your group! Whether hiking, fishing, biking, or skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area, the Creede Collection has your perfect private lodging accommodations.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Love this house!!!!!

Our third stay at riverside haven and booking again for next summer! Our party of 7...2 adult sons and wives, 16 year old grandson, my husband and I, have plenty of space and enjoy family time on the wonderful covered deck right on the river. Fishing was great!

Riverside Haven

It was great, when we got there, house was clean, it had a great view of the river and was close to everything in South Fork! We went skiing and had no problems getting in and out of the driveway either! Only problem (and only reason I didn’t put 5 stars on the gen condition) is because the key code’s batteries ran out and so we had some difficulty getting in/ locking the house when we left, but that’s a minor inconvenience and has no affect on the property! The management company was excellent, super super quick to respond and answer any questions we had, it was great!

Christmas ski vacation

This house was perfect for our ski vacation! The drive to wolf creek was only about 20 minutes. We had plenty of room for the 7 of us. The entry room was a nice bonus to keep our shoes/boots and ski gloves dry/warm for the next day. The kitchen had a great selection of seasonings, appliances, pots, wine glasses, etc. The 2 separate living areas gave us plenty of room to spread out! We would highly recommend staying here!

This property is a hidden gem.

This property was a hidden gem. Despite it being off the main drag, the floor to ceiling windows in the back provides an oasis. The views of sunrise and sunsets were beautiful.
We were very pleased with the communication with VRC and the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen was well- stocked with all of the essentials ...and more.
Our family skied at Wolf Creek and this property was an easy 20 min drive. This property has a “warm room” for your ski gear that was fantastic.
Don’t overlook this property for your visit. Just do your research since it is a small town.

Awesome Vacation Property

The property was as listed. It was completely stocked with everything we needed except groceries, of course. The property managers were in constant contact by text to make sure we had a wonderful time. The view and the river were out of this world. I would highly recommend this property!! I would also highly recommend the Revolution Railbike Tours. It was fun and our guides were very well versed in the history of the rails and the area. Two of our favorite restaurants were Ramon's Mexican Restaurant and Tiny Timers Resort and Coffee Bistro. We had wonderful meals, the help was friendly and both were in close proximity to the cabin. Our family would absolutely return to this property!!

Perfect!

It was lovely. Right on the South Fork of the Rio. Sits on the main road through town but traffic noise isn't too noticeable. Easy access to lots of activities. Kitchen very well stocked. We'd love to come back again!

Love this place!!!!!

Perfect home for our ski trip

This really was the perfect place to stay for our wolf creek ski trip. Despite blizzard conditions, the driveway was perfectly plowed for us, the home was warm and cozy, and it had everything we needed for our big family. The location is amazing, right on the river, right across the street from the pizza shop, right next-door to the ski rental place. It was really nice being so centrally located and not way up on the mountain. The house was clean and well furnished, and the owners were easy to communicate with, although we didn’t really have to much because everything was laid out so nicely. We will definitely be back!

Loved riverside haven! Great for families

My family and I have stayed many different places through the years around creede...never have we been as close to the river as this. We have already reserved for next year! We loved eating on the deck and hearing the river. Even though the house is centrally located it feels secluded and private. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. My family enjoyed fishing right behind the house and caught really nice fish...it was fun sitting on the deck watching them. I highly recommend this place!
