Our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1890's home, which is on the Historical Registry, features a range of historical relics and modern conveniences. Located a block off of Main Street, within walking distance to everything Ouray has to offer, the location of our home makes for a perfect home base for your mountain getaway!
This home was newly furnished in late 2018 and AC was just added in 2024! It offers a fully-stocked kitchen which has everything you need to prepare meals with family and friends. It has a formal dining area that seats 8 people and plenty of dishes and glassware for formal entertaining. It also has a separate dining nook for 4-6 people that's perfect for breakfast and lunch.
The main living space has a spacious and comfortable family room area with a large flat-screen TV and an electric built-in fireplace. There is a propane grill for your use, as well as outdoor furniture for your comfort.
Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom - King Bed - 2nd Floor
2nd Bedroom - King and Queen - 2nd Floor
3rd Bedroom - King and Queen - 2nd Floor
4th Bedroom - Full Bed - 1st Floor.
There is a full bathroom on the main level with a full bathroom on the second level. There is a laundry area with a washer and dryer on the upper level as well.
The home is pet friendly (2 pet max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Location, Location, Location

Best rental property in Ouray.... a few feet from main street, very relaxing and animal friendly. And we mean animals, we had 2-3 large buck Deer in the yard every night eating apples and clover, one walked up to the front door and was looking in the house. We will be back and cannot say enough good things about the house itself, the location and the management team. Trust me, you cannot go wrong with this property....

Great location. The door locks have some issues, the deadbolt needs to be repositioned as it causes the lockpad not to work. HUGE place than has lots of room in closets and in room.

Lots of Space and Very Comfortable Beds

This is a great vacation house. The rooms are huge and super comfortable very big beds. Great location right near all the restaurants. Great enclosed grass yard if you have pets. The extra bedroom that is listed as not approved as a bedroom is perfectly usable as a bedroom. We will definitely be back.

This house was perfect for us. There were 4 couples and the space inside the house fit perfectly. The house sits 1/2 block up from the main street also just down from Cascade Falls and centrally located so you are within walking distance to all the amenities of Ouray. Stepping out the front door provided amazing views. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in this home in Ouray, CO. The pictures online do not do it justice; it is a beautiful home and much larger than I was expecting. It is a historical home than has been beautifully renovated and the owners have stocked it well almost everything you can imagine for cooking and entertaining. The rooms are large with two living areas, two TVs, a pool table in the basement, 4 bedrooms (sleeps 12 comfortably.) The town of Ouray offers much to do and there are many hiking trails etc. We were in town for our daugher's wedding at Ridgway State Park and it was absolutely fabulous. This home provided us with a great base for us as well as our guests, right in the heart of downtown Ouray.

We loved this rental! Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The two living rooms were perfect since we had teenagers with us. The kitchen table was used as a game table since there is a large dining table that fit all of us. The beds were super comfy and having the washer and dryer was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again! Oh, the location was perfect! Just down from Cascade Falls, close to the shops, hot springs, fellin park and perimeter trail!! Highly recommend! The rental company was very responsive as well for check in, etc...

Perfect Location
Updated older home one block from Main Street Ouray. House was clean and very well furnished with everything we needed during our stay. Bedrooms were good sized with comfortable beds. Ceiling fans negated the need for air conditioning. (We we’re guests in mid-August.) I would definitely rent this property again.

Excellent beds and furnishings. Kitchen well-stocked with appliances. Very clean upon arrival. Only drawback is that it is only 1/2 a block from Main Street; therefore, it is a little noisy from the restaurants/bars/etc.
