Our 1,900 square foot, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, custom home, sits on 3/4 of an acre and is situated 1 mile from the heart of downtown Ouray and is 10 miles from Ridgway, 50 miles from Telluride, and 37 miles from Montrose/Telluride Airport.
You can access the North Corridor River Walk Trail across the highway, with easy walking access to downtown. Take a short walk along the river trail to the Ouray Natural Hot Springs Pool, excellent Ouray art galleries, or delectable dining options. Hiking trailheads are nearby—the perfect base camp for off-roading, climbing, fishing, skiing, relaxing, or other mountain adventures.
The house features WIFI, BBQ Gas Grill, in-floor radiant heat, outdoor living space in both the front and back of the home and flat-screen TVs in each bedroom. The home features 3 bedrooms on the main/entry level with no stairs required, and one bedroom on the the second level that requires a few stairs to access. Our home is perfect for multiple families as it features 2 master suites (one on the main level and one upstairs). Bring you toys! Parking available for up to 2 trucks and trailers, additional trailer parking near highway. Garage parking is also available.

The home is dog friendly (2 dogs max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).
4WD is recommended from late December to early April.
Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we follow CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc., are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

We had a great stay at this Ouray property. There were a few issues and the managers were super responsive! Very well equipped and location was great for a quick walk, on the river walk, to town. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the Ouray area!

Perfect Ouray Getaway

This home was exactly what we needed for our family of 8 for a week of exploring Ouray! It was the perfect mix of nice but not too fancy. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable. We had some great mornings and evenings on the back patio and the front porch swing.

Wonderful Winter Weekend Stay
Clean and beautiful house. Everything worked properly. Nice little neighborhood. The kitchen was perfect to make our own meals. We got to snowshoe, ski, walk around downtown (it would be a long walk from the house) and soak at the hot springs. Nice to be able to have the doggies and to have use of the garage.

Family Vacation
This house was perfect for our annual multi generation family vacation. It was clean and comfortable and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. We discovered the dishwasher wasn’t working properly and the staff responded quickly. I highly recommend this house!

Great house and location

Lovely, roomy home in magnificent Ouray. This home was the perfect size to accommodate my family and my brother’s family and is close to everything in the area. Two bedrooms and two baths on one side are separated from 2 bedrooms and one bath on the other. Perfect setup for two families staying together in one home. We used Ouray as a base to explore Ridgway, Montrose, Telluride, and even Durango (we took a day trip to ride the train). The owner lives next door and dropped in to check on us the day we arrived. And this house is the best stocked Vacation home we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend.

Best vacation ever!

We traveled to Ouray with 6 teenagers ages 17-19. This house was perfect four our group. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! No detail was missed. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The location was perfect! After spending a week in Ouray, I definitely think we had the best accommodations in town. We would definitely come back!

Having fun in Ouray

We very much enjoyed our stay in this rental. Owners were very nice and helpful. My one suggestion would be that suggesting that it sleeps nine needs instead needs to read: sleeps 9, however, this depends on how many couples and children are involved. Renters need to carefully think this through otherwise someone may end up sleeping on the couch. The house was very well stocked with essentials and I rate it a five because overall I believe we were well satisfied.. Please accept my comment about sleeping as constructive and not negative. We had a great time. Owners were very accommodating. .

Clean and Nestled into a Mountain

The house was perfect for our family of five. First impression, it was very clean and welcoming. It felt more like a home, than a rental. The owners are nearby if you need them, but won't intrude, which meant a lot to us. The house is just a few minutes from downtown Ouray. Great Mountain Home

Beautiful home on the north side of Ouray. Tucked into a little subdivision you have a sense of being in the country but you are only walking distance from downtown. The house was beautiful, well kept, good internet service, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with plenty of warm blankets. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the fire place every evening. We would highly recommend this location and would stay again. The house feels like a home, not just a cold vacation rental property.

Nice comfortable house for 3 couples; it was amazingly well equipped with everything so we only needed to buy main items. The steep dirt road and limited parking for trailers was a small challenge, but we worked out. One mile walk to town.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Ouray. The location was great, just minutes from town but quiet and peaceful. The home worked well for our family with everyone having their own space. We had a wonderful time sitting on the front porch swing and enjoying the view. We would love to stay here again.
Ouray July 4 summer vacation

My family loves July 4 in Ouray, so we took another family of 4 this year and stayed in ouray over the week of July 4. The house was in a good location but there were a few things that were not accurate about the house description. It said the master on level 1 was a king. It was not. It said all bedrooms had tvs. The two larger rooms did but the room we put our two girls in didn't and the two boys had a tiny tv that wasn't used. There were also some things that were bothersome from a maintenance perspective. No blinds on the windows in the bedrooms and the curtains were shear. So it was quite bright in the kids rooms. The front door handle stuck and needed replacing so kids kept getting stuck outside. And the kitchen faucet sprayer was broken. The house supplied wifi but it was so slow and often was unusable. Besides those few things the house worked well for us and was pretty and in a good neighborhood.
Philip, We greatly appreciate your stay with us and the time you took to write a review of the property. Your comments enabled us to adjust the listing, which simply had not kept up with changes in decisions made when furnishing and decorating this brand new vacation rental. That said, thanks so much for pointing those items out so we could get them corrected. Blinds have been installed per your suggestion and the maintenance items have been attended to. One note on wifi in Ouray - the speeds available there currently are great for typical web surfing, but not substantial enough for video streaming that requires higher speeds.
