Our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo (Unit 3) is located in the Sitzmark Building at Purgatory Resort and offers convenience in all seasons. This is a mountain retreat right at the base of one of Purgatory’s favorite runs, Lower Hades - just steps from the condo. Ski down to the high-speed six pack in the morning, and ski right back in the afternoon. In spring, summer and fall, mountain biking and hiking trails are just the other side of the front door.
The condo was remodeled in 2018 including all new appliances and offers plenty of space and features an open floor plan. The condo also features covered parking at the unit, washer and dryer, WIFI and a gas grill. The large back deck offers great views and great outdoor space to hang out.
Bed Configuration:
Master - King with TV and Ensuite Bath (2nd Floor)
2nd - Queen and TV (main Level)
3rd - Bunks Beds (2) - Single over Single (main level)
Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa
The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Great place!

The townhome was great for our group (6 adults). There is plenty of space and the beds are comfortable (we had a few 20 year olds that slept in the bunks). The kitchen is well stocked and makes it easy for you to cook meals, but there are a few fun options for eating out in the area too. It’s definitely not a ski in ski out, but if you rent a locker for your gear it’s super easy to walk back and forth. Great communication with VRC as well.

Christmas Vacation

This rental was fantastic. It was just a bit of a walk to the lifts but not too far. We never had to get the car our unless we headed into Durango. It was clean and equipped with all the things we needed to cook. There were extra pillows and blankets if needed. A small fan. We started a fire in the fireplace every evening and grilled steaks on the propane grill. First time skiing for my family and it was an excellent stay. I highly recommend this rental!

Great family vacation and rental unit
The unit was great for our family. Lots of room to spread out. Very well furnished and stocked with supplies. Loved that it was a corner unit with no one above us. Not really ski in/ski out. There is a short walk to the slopes.

This condo was the perfect place for our family to spend Christmas. It was very spacious for our group of 8. The view off the balcony was so pretty watching the snow. The condo had everything that we needed. It was a walk to the ski lift but that wasn't a problem for our group.

Great condo close to the slopes

Purgatory Condo

Great condo with lots of room. Modern/cabin feel that we enjoyed very much. Beautiful views and easy access to the resort amenities. It was our first time to the Durango area and we will definitely be returning. As long as you don’t get caught between seasons, there’s a ton of potential activities to take part in.
