Centrally located in the town of Ouray, this 2-bedroom, three-bathroom gorgeous home is the perfect family or group getaway with breathtaking views of the dormant Amphitheater Volcanic Caldera.

The original home, now the living room, was built in 1898 and maintains its historic charm while embodying all the modern luxuries everyone enjoys. The interior features modern furnishings and appliances, an updated kitchen with upgraded appliances and granite countertops, a gas fireplace in the living area and remodeled En-suite bedrooms that are spacious and inviting. Relax and enjoy a hot beverage or quiet moment in the loft area above the living room with awe-inspiring views.

The Primary upstairs bedroom features a private deck with outdoor gas firepit and sectional outdoor sofa with plenty of seating. The private back yard with a completely closed-in fence and grass throughout provides the perfect outdoor haven for your furry companions to enjoy.

Bed Configuration:
Primary En-suite Bedroom - King Bed (2nd Level)
2nd En-suite Bedroom - King Bed (1st Level).

Guest are welcome to park up to two regular sized vehicles in the designated parking spaces in front of the home. Trailers and RV's can be parked at no charge at the City parking lot, located at the west end of 9th Avenue.

This home is pet-friendly. Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs for an additional fee. The nightly pet fee is $40.00/$250.00 maximum. Please confirm that you will be traveling with a dog(s) when you book your reservation. Please review and follow the Pet Policy.

About the Area: Nestled at the San Juan Gateway mountain range, Ouray, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year. In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing.

During the winter season bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, Downhill or Nordic skis and enjoy a wide variety of winter activities. Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and Ouray Hot Springs.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Wonderful home to enjoy the San Juan Mountains

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the multiple bathrooms was a plus. The dogs absolutely loved the fenced yard. It was a great location to see all the sights around the Ouray/Silverton/Ridgway area. We would definitely stay here again and I am hoping to book again in 2024.

The Perfect Stay

Quray Visit

It was a very good trip and we enjoyed it very much. The house was in good
shape and perfect for our needs. Quray itself is a beautiful place and we took advantage of hiking and sightseeing opportunities. The VCR staff was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had.
