Our modern mountain retreat boasts pristine views of the San Juan Mountains and Creede proper. The bright and airy upper level features an open-concept living area with a large rock gas fireplace and kitchen, which is well stocked and ready for you to prepare a wonderful meal! You'll love spending your mornings or evenings on the beautiful deck sipping your favorite beverage or watching the local wildlife!

This home is perfect for multiple families or groups of friends allowing ample space for everyone. The main level bedroom has an ensuite bath with a steam shower. The entertainment area downstairs offers a ping pong table and kitchenette. You will also find the second bedroom and a full bath on the basement level. The third bedroom walks out onto the patio with access to the circular drive. For your convenience, the home also has a washer and dryer and is well-stocked with everything you should need during your Colorado mountain vacation!
Our home features a ping-pong table in the lower-level basement recreation room.
This home is dog-friendly, with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. The pet fee is $40 per day and a maximum of $250 per stay.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
Book 7+ nights, and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during the 4th of July or the Christmas/New Years holiday).
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount.
In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Fabulous Spacious Cabin for Family Wedding

This large cabin was the perfect spot for our family of 8 to stay as we celebrated our son’s wedding. The cabin was exactly as described. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved the deck and ping pong table and had many deer visit during our stay. We had 3 cars and plenty of space for parking. It was an easy walk to the wedding at the chapel just above as well as to town. We cannot imagine a more perfect location for a large family gathering!!

Simply Wonderful!

We planned our family reunion in Creede. The home we rented was perfect. The location was great, and just a short walk to town, restaurants and the grocery store. Yet it was located above the city with panoramic views of the mountains. The house itself had everything we needed including a great kitchen. The wrap around deck was perfect for morning coffee and happy hour drinks. We hosted 30 people for dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. There is a ping pong table, ladder golf, and corn hole to keep kids busy. A fire ring was perfect for late night fires and roasting marshmallows. A bonus is the steam shower in the master bathroom. There were 7 of us staying, with room for several more. Upon arrival the house was sparkling clean. Amanda and Mary Beth from VRC handled special requests and reservations professionally.

House is awesome and in a great location. Plenty of room for everyone, comfy beds, and a few minutes walk to town. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Cozy and bright

401 Capital was a perfect place for our hockey team to stay for the pond hockey tournament this year. Beds were comfy, the fireplace kept us warm, we cooked many meals in the kitchen, and the location was close to town and the rink. Thank you to VRC for being clear communicators and welcoming hosts, and for setting us up with another great stay in Creede.

My family spent the holidays at this amazing rental in the cutest town in Colorado. The beautiful fireplace kept us warm in the evenings and the views of the snow capped mountains were breathtaking! Stunning Mountain Views

This cabin has everything you could ask for. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a view of the mountains; especially wonderful when a snow storm blew in. We could sit on the wrap around balcony and watch its approach. The living room is spacious with a two sided fireplace. Also the living room and kitchen feature heated floors which are great for snowy nights. My grandkids enjoyed the lower level playroom with a ping pong table! The kitchen was well appointed with everything I needed.
The cabin is close enough to walk into town. It sits above the town with a view up the canyon. We saw elk on the mountain across, and a moose on our walk!
I'd highly recommend this rental and plan to stay again!
