Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1,250 sq ft condo (Unit 403) in Purgatory Lodge (Unit 403) offers the ultimate convenience in winter or summer, as it is located in the heart of Purgatory Village only 50 yards from the primary high-speed lift to the top of the mountain, the Purgatory Express. This is the finest ski-in/ski-out location at the resort and includes a ski locker close to the slopes.
Purgatory Lodge contains Durango Mountain Resort's premium amenities including outdoor heated pool with slide, hot tub, workout facility, and family game room adjacent to a private restaurant and bar.
The single level condo is located on the 4th floor (elevator access) and offers amazing views of the Needles Mountain Range and the ski resort. The condo was professionally decorated and each bedroom contains a flat screen TV as well as high end furnishings and linens.

The home is pet friendly (2 pet max) and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).
Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
The Lodge's upper floor, which includes the private bar and game room, is closed during the off-season when the ski resort isn't open (fall and April and May)
Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we are following CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets,etc. are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
One of the ways we're doing this is through no-contact guest access via our keyless entry system. We look forward to welcoming you and hosting your stay.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Great location, perfect for our needs. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms and great ski in/out location with storage for our stuff. Furniture slightly used, but expected. Seems to be usual for ski properties. Overall, we couldn’t have picked a better place!

This is a perfect place for a family to stay. Go down the elevator and walk out to your ski locker 100 yards from Lift 1. The layout was great and well appointed. Never ate out, as all we had everything we needed. If you are staying there, make sure you grocery shop before leaving Durango.
And stop by James Ranch on your way up. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the condo. Everything was great except the blinds in the center section were completely broken and missing. Didn't really bother me with the exception of the sunlight blasting in so early in the morning. If someone sleeps on the sofa or sofa bed they can't sleep in. Still a great place. Love the layout of the condo.

A perfect getaway
My family and I had an excellent time staying at this unit. The location is extremely convenient to skiing, food and drink, etc. The slope side location made it easy to come and go from the unit during a powder day, a big plus. Property management was very communicative. We had one small issue and they and the maintenance folks were quickly responsive. The unit was clean, well stocked and roomy for our family of three, and could easily accommodate another few people. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Great Getaway in the Off-Season

Clean and Comfortable

Stayed here with our two teen boys and dog when we got rained out of a camping trip. It could not have been a better place for us! Beautiful location with nearby hikes. Extremely clean, fully stocked kitchen (spotless sink, fridge, dishwasher, and oven!). Bathrooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable. I was concerned about cleanliness due to Covid risks, but we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay. It was lovely to open all the windows and enjoy the fresh air, and the balcony view was gorgeous. Mary Beth was so helpful with getting us booked. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family spot!

This is the perfect condo for a family to enjoy Purgatory. The condo was clean and set up beautifully for our family of 4, and the location is ideal. It is so nice to have the ski in/ski out ease in the winter and would be perfect for enjoying summer weather as well. Private but well connected to convenient restaurants, pool, workout, etc. There were some very minor maintenance issues with burned out lights and some broken bedroom blinds. The issues were very minor and management brought new light bulbs right away. We get up early for skiing anyway, so the blinds that wouldn't close all the way didn't present much of an issue.

Fall Leaf Peeping

This rental was amazing. Clean, large and well appointed in both rooms as well as the kitchen and washer/dryer combo. The resort was impeccable, complete with pool and spa. Purgatory resort was along Hwy 550 with tremendous views of the trees during the fall season and a pleasant drive to Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride.

Beautiful Weekend away with Family
The condo was very spacious and perfect for our 5 travelers - 2 couples and grandpa! The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the outside patio in the morning and evening. There is a large, spacious kitchen with all of the amenities that we needed to dine in and make snacks and drinks for the evening.
