Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo at East Rim (Unit D-14) was just remodeled and is located right across from Purgatory Lodge and offers the ultimate convenience in all seasons.
The condo features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain and is perfect for multiple families. East Rim is centrally located to the main skier plaza and is just a short walk to the fastest and biggest high speed lift on the mountain, Purgatory Express. This property is unique because is just a step away from the hustle and bustle, restaurants, shops and skiing amenities of the primary base village at Purgatory Resort, but it offers a more private and quiet existence with views that cannot be beat in the region. You have immediate access to all the resort amenities, and fantastic value in this fully remodeled and exceptional residence.
Bed Configuration (all 3 bedrooms are downstairs):
Master - Queen
Bedroom 2 - Queen
3rd - Bunk Bed (single over single) - Note access to the bunk room is thru the Master Bedroom
Main Living Space - Queen Pull Out Sofa
There is a full bathroom upstairs and downstairs (not attached to a bedroom) as well as a washer and dryer (laundry detergent provided) and a BBQ gas grill on the deck.
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

This is the second time our family of 4 has stayed in this unit, and both times it was perfect for us. Beautiful views, easy access to the slopes, and a short walk to the resort amenities - plus a hot chocolate bar and plenty of supplies in the kitchen. We will be back!

Great Weekend getaway

This is by far one of the nicest locations we have stayed at in East Rim. The small amount of snow didn’t allow us to fully use the amazing ski in/ski out abilities of this place. The updates to this place are amazing and the kids loved the Harry Potter themed bunk bed room! We will be staying again!!!

We had a great experience in this condo. The unit was very clean and has literally everything your heart could desire. The beds were very comfortable (too small but my wife loves our cal king to sleep as far away from me as possible haha). Excellent unit! Rent it!

GREAT place - clean & convenient

We loved this unit - just steps from front door to slope. Kitchen was well stocked with everything (not food) needed to prepare all meals. There are numerous hooks and shelves for ALL of the ski gear and accessories.

Perfect Location for Family that is Skiing!

Our family of five loved the close proximity to the slopes; the view of the beginner area Graduate Lift is just out the back door and side windows. The owners are mindful of renter's needs with lots of hooks, racks and baskets for ski gear. The beds and pillows were comfortable and rooms cozy with lots of lamps. Bathrooms are very nicely updated. You can tell the owner takes great pride in this condo with great decor! We would definitely rent again!

Nice Stay!

The rental was very nice and very clean. The layout of the bedrooms is a little odd with the bunk bed room connected to the master bedroom but there were only 3 adults (one couple and a single) so it worked out fine with the second bedroom completely separate from the master. Over all it was a perfect place for a long weekend and a wedding celebration at Purgatory Resort which is literally right across the street.

Amazing ski-in-ski-out condo!!
Beautiful condo with amazing access to Purgatory - literally step out of the condo and onto the slope! Steps away from the shops and restaurant in the village, and access to the pool and hot tub at the base of the of the mountain. Beautiful and well maintained condo, with little extras to make your stay easy and special. Loved it!!

Spring Break Ski Vacation

This condo was perfect and accommodating for my family of five (two adults and three teenagers). The location was right off of the mountain for skiing in and out. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. Purgatory is a great place to ski and the village has places to eat and shop. The town of Durango was easy to get to down the mountain and has a nice variety of restaurants and shops. Keith, the manager of the property, was quick to respond to any questions. Overall, wonderful place and ski vacation. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay!!

My family (4 adults and 3 children ages 6,3 and 1) absolutely loved staying in D14 at East Rim!! Seriously the location is an unbeatable ski in/ski out which is key for small children. The condo itself was well stocked, very clean, and has an incredible view! The layout was perfect and cozy for our group but may be a little tight if we added any more people. Kieth, the property manager was only a phone call away if we had any questions and was very helpful! We can't wait to rent this proberty again!!

This condo spoiled us!
This condo is located as close as you can get to the ski slopes but it's very quiet! The VIEW is amazing! We loved our stay! It was a surprise that the small, bunk-bed bedroom is actually inside the master bedroom, but it turned out to be just fine because our grandson was so tired when he went to bed that we never heard a peep. He loved that small room (the 'bunk-bed room')all to himself. The master bath has no shower head, only a handheld shower, but no problem, the upstairs bath has a great shower. There was plenty of hot water for showers, every appliance worked perfectly, the cleanliness was tops, and the beds were super comfy. Management was friendly, fast and professional; absolutely the BEST. The parking was crowded due to heavy snow piles and guests who parked crooked but it all worked out during the week as guests came and went. The only problem is that now we are spoiled and will never want any other condo at Purgatory!

Amazing Vaca!

We LOVED the condo and the location. The condo had EVERYthing we needed and wanted. It was perfect to be able to walk out our door, put on our skis and boards and ski down to a lift. The condo was clean and comfortable and the views were incredible! When we posted pics on Facebook of our view several folks said we were staying in the middle of a Christmas Card.
