Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1,800 Square foot home ("Durango Valley View") was built in 2019 and is located in the Animas Valley just 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Durango and 20 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort to the north.
The new home features numerous amenities including central AC, large screen TV with cable and gas fireplace in the Main Living Space along with a well-appointed kitchen that is open to the living room and dining room. Our favorite part of the home is the deck upstairs with comfy outdoor furniture with awesome views of the red rocks across the valley - great for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There is also a hiking trail adjacent to the home and the large back yard is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities. Both bedrooms also have TVs (Streaming only).
The newly renovated Durango Hot Springs is just a 1/2 mile from the home and Dalton Ranch Golf along with PJs Market and a great liquor store are just across highway 550 a mile from the house. In the garage, there is a Charge Point Level 2 Electric Vehicle charger rated for 50 amps and will charge up to 30mi per hour.

Great stay!!!

It was fantastic. The unit was perfectly located between downtown Durango and all the hiking we wanted to do towards Silverton. The unit was squeaky clean and beautifully appointed. We have used VRC for houses numerous times and all of the houses are clean and top notch. We come numerous times a year and their homes are our go to houses.

Perfect Home Rental!
This was the perfect home for our ski weekend at Purgatory! It was the perfect location - 1 minute to the Hot Springs, 10 minutes to Durango for restaurants, and 20 minutes to Purgatory.
The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the home was bigger than we anticipated, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, the fireplace was a perfect warm spot to relax after a fun day on the slopes, and the garage was perfect when we got 15 inches of snow!
We had great communication with VRC before, during, and after our stay!

Absolutely Wonderful

This house was perfect for my family of 5. We had plenty of room. The house was very clean upon arrival and had all of the amenities we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with good pots and pans, which goes a long way with me. The deck was great to relax and enjoy a nice Colorado Kolsch. My kids greatly enjoyed the backyard.
We also enjoyed the hot springs which is only 1/4 mile up the road.
We stayed in this house last year and just had to stay again and it certainly didn't disappoint. We will be back!

The home is fresh and new, well designed and located. Very nice to have a garage for our vehicle. The upstairs veranda overlooking red cliffs was a favorite for us as well as our guests. Excellent location north of town, very close to the hot springs spa.

The rental agency was very responsive to any questions we had. Clear instructions on location, entry to home, simple departure requirements. Home was super clean and beautiful, upstairs balcony and quiet private backyard sitting area were so relaxing. Every detail seemed well thought out to make this experience just perfect. Fantastic Durango vacation Spring 2023

We visited this Durango for a week and this house was perfection! It is spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Upon arrival, it was so clean and ready for our vacation adventure to begin. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms gorgeous and common areas has so much room. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to prep some meals at the house. And the view...incredible! It was a great home base for exploring Durango and the surrounding area. We recommend it 100%

An Excellent Stay

My family of 5 absolutely loved the house. Upon arrival everything was spotless and very clean. The instructions from the property manager were clear. I had a quick question and they addressed it very quickly. The location is perfect with amazing views and quick access to a grocery was great. Durango Hot Springs is just right down the street as well. We spent so much time on the deck taking in the views as well as the nice backyard. We will definitely return!

Attention to detail in this modern mountain retreat

My family and I came to Durango to be with my sister who was in the ICU. I desperately needed some place that was nice, quiet, and affordable to recharge after difficult days at the hospital. This place literally kept us sane during this difficult time. I have never stayed somewhere so well furnished, designed, and located. It’ll the house was spacious, had gorgeous red cliff views, and was super close to the Durango Hot Springs. It was far enough away from the city center to be peaceful and close enough to make shopping super simple. The modern design was exactly what we like. Honestly, this will be the only place we stay again in this area. The host company was very responsive and compassionate as we navigated the stressors of our situation. Can’t recommend this place enough.
