The Vail & Beaver Creek Collection
Vail and Beaver Creek are paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering world-class skiing and snowboarding in the winter and incredible hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer. I love exploring Vail Village's charming shops, gourmet dining, and lively après-ski scene, or catch a performance at the iconic Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. In Beaver Creek, don’t miss ice skating in the picturesque village plaza or indulging in their famous fresh-baked cookies served daily. From scenic gondola rides to fly fishing on the Eagle River, these destinations promise unforgettable adventures year-round.

I love starting my day on the slopes, enjoying some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world. In the summer, there’s nothing better than hiking scenic trails or riding the gondola to soak in the breathtaking mountain views. I always make time to wander through the charming villages, trying local restaurants, browsing unique shops, and catching a live performance or two. No matter the season, there’s something magical about the mix of outdoor adventure and laid-back luxury here.

Hear from Our Happy Guests

This unit was the very best we have ever stayed in. We’ve stayed in ski-in/ski-outs in Keystone, Breck and this year Beaver Creek. This one being the only true, beyond CONVENIENT ski in/ski out. We walked in and the kids ran straight outside to play on the slope. Incredible. Our two ten-year-olds were even able to go up Haymeadow Gondola by themselves and ski down to our back door without issue. The inside of the unit was immaculate. Very comfortable furniture and beds. The showers had great pressure (very important!). We would go back in a flash.

Do I need a car to get around Vail?

A: Not necessarily within town. Vail runs the largest free shuttle bus system in the country, connecting Vail Village, Lionshead, and the surrounding neighborhoods every few minutes during peak season. A car is useful, though, for day trips beyond town or getting to and from the airport.

What’s the elevation in Vail and will it affect my trip?

A: Vail sits at about 8,150 feet above sea level, with the mountain's summit reaching over 11,500 feet. Guests coming from lower elevations should plan to take it easy on the first day, stay hydrated, and limit alcohol until they've acclimated.

A: Winter (roughly late November through April) is Vail's peak season, with world-class skiing, snowboarding, and a lively apres-ski scene. Summer (June through September) draws visitors for hiking, mountain biking, and outdoor festivals, while fall brings golden aspens and thinner crowds.

How far is Vail from Denver?

A: Vail is about 97 miles west of Denver via Interstate 70, a drive that typically takes 2 to 2.5 hours through the Eisenhower Tunnel and over Vail Pass. Winter storms and weekend ski traffic can add significant time, so it's worth building in a buffer

What’s the closest airport to get to Vail?

A: Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is the closest airport, about 30 miles west of Vail, roughly a 35 to 45 minute drive. It offers direct flights to major hubs during ski season, with Denver International Airport, about 2 hours away, offering more year-round flight options.
