Our three-bedroom, two-bath mountain home overlooks Historic Downtown Creede and the majestic views of the steep and craggy cliffs downtown and surrounding San Juan Mountains. Whether you’re looking to ski, mountain bike, hike, fly fish, attend the award-winning Creede Repertory Theatre, or enjoy time with your family and friends, this in-town cabin is the perfect getaway.

While at Aspen Grove, take advantage of the spacious deck, enjoy a BBQ outside, drink coffee by the cozy indoor fireplace, or walk into town and visit the local restaurants, art galleries, and shops. Enjoy an evening under the stars from the wrap-around deck while admiring the Creede Cliffs.
This home is pet-friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay).
Consistent with most Colorado mountain homes, the home does not offer air-conditioning.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and 4th of July holidays).
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only lose the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Summer Getaway at Aspen Grove
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Aspen Grove! The house is super cute and convenient to town. The views are phenomenal. The property was clean, the VRC staff was super responsive to all of our needs and questions. And the amenity boxes were very helpful!
We were traveling with a 4 month old baby, and the setup was great for our family. A huge plus was no creaky floors or squeaky doors -- we didn't have to tiptoe around after she went to sleep.

PERFECT LOCATION with amazing views! VERY COZY, MUST STAY!

We enjoyed our week in this beautiful cabin nestled at the end of a quiet road just above town. We walked to town a few days and walked to the up and over trail from our room. The cabin has incredible views of the canyon and a tiny peek of San Luis Peak out the kitchen window. The cabin is VERY comfortable for our large family. All bedding/beds are VERY comfortable, bathrooms well stocked with towels, dishcloths, soap etc. Cozy downstairs- we enjoyed movie night. We also love to cook and the kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. We will be back, again! This is our second time to stay here and its always wonderful.

Great house with mindblowing view

This was our third time renting this property and there is a reason we keep returning. Its very comfortable for our group of 4 with three nice bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, the open kitchen, dining and living area has everything we need for cooking, relaxing and socializing. The spacious deck is the prize jewel with its incredible views of the cliffs, town and surrounding landscapes. And to top it off, its a short walk to Creede’s delightful Main Street, grocery store, Creede Rep Theatre, restaurants and stores.

Great Creede Getaway
We had a great week in Creede at the Aspen Grove. We enjoyed being super close to town but also feeling secluded with beautiful views of the cliffs. The place was spotless with comfy beds and all of the amenities that we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Mountain Getaway!

There were 8 of us and we fit perfectly in this comfortable and delightful home. The pictures and description were accurate, the beds cozy, heat to suit, well lit upper level perfect for morning coffee and reflection time, the view and surroundings were amazing, the kitchen well-stocked, and toiletries provided. If you map this location, the house is at the end of the road. Our maps brought us to an abandoned location, so go to the very end of the road!

This lovely, super comfortable home is so wonderful that we have rented it more than once and would do so again! From the incredible view of Creede's cliffs (enjoyed from the welcoming deck and many windows), it's walkable location to downtown Creede and the creature comforts of the home such as comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and great kitchen - we couldn't ask for more. Great communication with house managers too. Can't wait to return!

Cozy Cabin with San Luis Peak Views.

We enjoyed every detail of this cabin. Location is awesome and you can walk to town from a nearby trail. The king size bed was VERY Comfortable. Plenty of rooms to sleep extra family that came along with us. Kitchen was very well furnished with everything possible to cook in kitchen. The best part is the fantastic views out every window, felt like we were in a snow globe. Fantastic place to stay and we can’t wait to stay again!

We had a wonderful time staying here for the pond hockey tournament. The location is great - you can walk downtown or even over to the ponds really easily. The view os beautiful, and the house had plenty of space for our group.

Great Creede Stay

Our stay between Christmas and the New Year was wondeful! The cabin is in the perfect location to downtown Creede. Every day we could walk to the coffee shop, grocery store and local ice skating rink. It’s also a short drive away from Wolf Creek so we could be on the mountain in no time.
In addition, our stay was great for a family. With plenty of space upstairs and downstairs, both the kids and adults had their own space which was so nice. There was also all the amenities we needed for our stay such as a washer and dryer, a crockpot, and a gorgeous kitchen stocked with everything you need to make meals.
We definetly plan on returning for another stay in this beautiful cabin with stunning views and everything a family needs to feel at home.

Somewhat hard to find but well worth it!

If we had arrived at night, I'm not sure I could have located this beautiful, modern house located on the hillside west of Creede looking down on the small town. Coming from South Fork, the directions said to stay on 149 as it makes a horseshoe turn in town, take a hard right on Bachelor Road (504), another hard right on Capital Ave, and basically drive to the end of the road. The problem for me was that Capital looked more like a driveway rising steeply from Bachelor so I missed that turn. When I turned around and came back to Capital Ave, many of the driveways off Capital look like side streets, but they aren't so you need to stay on the main gravel road. At some unmarked point Capital becomes Aspen Ave but it's S. Aspen Ave and you're looking for N Aspen Ave. There is a 109 S. Aspen Ave which I mistook for the rental as it was not occupied. The key is to have faith and keep traveling on the gravel road (past the dead end sign) to the very end of the road (which has now become N. Aspen Ave) where the road becomes a driveway which drops onto the property. Look for the wide parking area, beautiful, level yard, and the distinctive exterior stairway leading up to the deck on the right end of the house. My recommendation for finding the property would be to find 3rd Street in town, follow it west for a couple blocks where it becomes a gravel road rising steeply up the hill (Google doesn't show it), take the sharp turn to the right at the top of the hill (by the dead end sign), then follow the main road to the very end of the road. Once you find the house, you'll be glad you did. It's roomy, clean, and comfortable. You can follow a footpath starting at the back of the house but it's a steep climb back up so not suited for anyone with health or structural issues. Take a light if it's going to be dark on the way back. Some instructions about: 1.the heating system, 2.location of the trash container, 3.use of the Apple box and TV would be helpful. Great place!

Our favorite rental property in Creede

Nice size unit. 3 actual bedrooms plus 2 more beds in an alcove off of the downstairs TV room. Two baths. Unit is well furnished, clean and is a great size. Some difficulty finding it, pay close attention to the directions. We arrived after dark and probably took us 25 minutes to figure out which house it was. But other than that, the house was excellent with plenty of parking and a great location.

Absolutely would recommend this rental agency and the particular cabin we stayed in. The service was very quick to respond to every email communication, even nights and weekends! The cabin was beyond perfect for our party of 6 adults and 2 kids, 9 and 5. It was spotless and was fully stocked. The company preemptively asked if anything was lacking, and sent more towels on the same day they were requested. Location was fantastic and we can’t wait to book again with VRC!
