Experience one of the most unique homes in Ouray! Nestled among towering trees and stunning mountainsides, you won't believe you're only steps away from the Historic Downtown Area of Ouray, Colorado! This newly updated mountain modern retreat boasts pristine views of the San Juan Gateway, featuring three-bedrooms and two and a half baths. The bright and airy upper level features an open concept living area, with a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and a well-stocked kitchen that is ready for you to prepare a wonderful meal! You'll love spending your time on the beautiful deck spaces, sipping your favorite beverage or watching the local wildlife while enjoying the outdoor gas firepit! Or venture out into the beautiful backyard and cozy up to the smokeless firepit while roasting marshmallows and soaking up the Ouray moonlight!
The stunning primary bedroom is located on the upper floor and features privacy as well as a luxurious king bed and gorgeous corner patio doors leading to the large deck area and those amazing views with the hot tub right outside. On the lower level are the second and third guest bedrooms. Both feature cozy king beds and a convenient jack and jill bathroom with a beautiful stone shower. The second bedroom features a gas fireplace and two sliding glass doors that access the back yard. You will also find an additional cozy sitting area to enjoy a movie, great book or gather with friends and family for great conversation. For your convenience the home also has a washer and dryer.
Two new E-bikes are provided for your riding enjoyment around the town of Ouray.

Third Bedroom - King Bed or 2 XL Twin Beds - Downstairs Lower Level

This home is pet friendly. Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. The pet fee is $40.00, per night/$250.00 maximum.

ABOUT THE AREA
Ouray, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Only gets better

This is our second stay, and the home gets better and better each time. Great location and beautiful home. Kitchen is very well equipped and stocked with every imaginable cooking spice + olive oil and vinegar - far better than any other rental vacation home we've visited. Very clean. Fireplace was equipped and ready to go - even during the summer months (which we enjoyed in the cool evenings). Thanks!

Beautiful Modern Vacation Home in Ouray
Luxurious modern home just a block off Main Street. The 3 bedrooms with king sized beds were perfect. Modern bathrooms and well appointed kitchen. The large deck with hot tub and fire pit were a welcome place to relax after a day of hiking. Along with the many birds that visited the feeder, we saw a deer and bear in the yard. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

Great Place
We had 3 adult family couples for 5 days in Ouray. The house was perfectly sized for us. It had private bedrooms and 2 separate seating areas yet had large gathering areas inside & out. The deck with firepit was great. Well equipped & stocked kitchen and baths. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to Main St yet quiet & private.
Take note, main floor bath is not ensuite to the bedroom. You have to walk through main living area to access this bath.

Positively Perfect Ouray
Perfectly located within Ouray and also with some privacy, this home was a perfect fit for our family vacation. We were able to walk to the Perimeter Trail, Box Canyon, all of the shops and restaurants on Main Street while having a quiet location. The deck was perfect to relax on and the new hot tub welcomed us after a day of fun. Thank you!

Great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed house. The deck with its beautiful views and has fire pit were wonderful. The heated floors were amazing...we had to turn them off and open the doors to cool things off a bit! The location is so convenient to town. Love the ambience of being in a treehouse. Love the birds, bird feeder, AND provided bird seed! This place had so many nice touches...even a myriad of spices from none other than our fav HEB.

Modern home nestled between the mountains

This house was so new, that the drapes we're not yet installed in the bedroom, the pans hadn't been used, all the kitchen utensils were still bright and shiny etc. We loved it! It's a very comfortable home, in a quiet neighbourhood. It's spacious, with an incredible large deck with a view of the mountains. It is also within walking distance of shops and restaurants of Ouray. Plenty of space to park your car. We had a hard time leaving this wonderful home and would definitely come back!
