Our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom River Retreat cabin is the perfect vacation for an idyllic and relaxing getaway for anyone seeking a peaceful time by the river. Our home is situated on the banks of the gold medal waters of the Rio Grande River, offering beautiful views and soothing sounds of the river. Our property boasts a riverfront deck, providing a perfect spot to savor your morning coffee or enjoy appetizers and cocktails while enjoying the stunning views and refreshing breeze. Enjoy a luxurious soak in the private hot tub while taking in the scenic surroundings of the river, mountain views, and nature. Located 30 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area and Creede, it is the perfect location to explore the surrounding areas.

Our home is dog-friendly, with a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. The pet fee is $40 per day and a maximum of $250 per stay.

The cabin can comfortably accommodate guests, providing enough space for everyone during their stay. The private lot surrounded by trees adds to the sense of seclusion and tranquility, making it a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you do need to work on your trip, there is a desk in the home for you to comfortably work. After work is finished for the day, play some games or read a book to relax and unwind.

The open layout of the living room, dining area, and kitchen creates a welcoming and spacious atmosphere for spending quality time with friends and family. Grilling on the wooded deck is a wonderful way to enjoy the evenings. Nothing beats curling up by the fireplace to stay warm and cozy when the weather gets chilly. Our home is the ideal destination for nature lovers, fishing enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a peaceful getaway by the river.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
