Our 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath 1,900 sq ft condo (Unit 302) in Purgatory Lodge offer the ultimate convenience in winter or summer as it is located in the heart of Purgatory Village only 50 yards from the primary high-speed lift, Purgatory Express, to the top of the mountain. This is the best ski in/ski out location at the resort.
Purgatory Lodge contains Durango Mountain Resort's premium amenities including outdoor heated pool with slide, hot tub, workout facility, and family game room adjacent to a private restaurant and bar.
The single level condo is located on the northwest corner of Purgatory Lodge on the 3rd floor (elevator access) and offers amazing views of the Needles Mountain Range from the deck and master bedroom. There is also a gas grill on the deck and each Purgatory Lodge unit has a ski locker.
The condo was professionally decorated and both King bedrooms have flat screen TV's.

4th bedroom - Bunks Beds 2 Sets (Single over Single) (main level)
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Great Condo at Purgatory Lodge

This condo in the main lodge at Purgatory was a wonderful choice for our family ski vacation. The condo is in great condition and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the location is hard to beat. We were able to just take the elevator down and walk right out on the slopes. The kitchen had everything we needed including a crockpot! We would stay here again!!

Amazing location for a winter holiday
Condo 302 in Purgatory Lodge has more than enough space to sleep 10 people comfortably (4 bunk beds, 2 queens, and 1 king) in large rooms with ample closet/dresser space for bulky winter clothing. Excellent condition, beautiful views, and best part: such easy access to the slopes (simply take the elevator to the 1st floor and walk out to the base of the mountain - no stairs required). Private ski locker at the base of the slopes for easy overnight storage, heated pool and large hot tub. Access to the Durango Mountain Club for entertainment, private bar/restaurant. We'd definitely stay here again!

Amazing

We had three families together for a total of 10 people, 5 adults and 5 kids. This was perfect for our needs! Everyone had their own space, yet plenty of space to all play games and eat as a group. The location was perfect as it was beautiful to start and play, as well as about halfway between what we wanted to do/visit north in Ouray/Silverton and south in the Durango area. My only wish was that it would have been more clear that all the activities were closed except on weekends, it would have changed our timing/plans. Otherwise, we loved the location! Staff at the lodge were very kind and helpful. All other guests were respectful. We'll be back!

Family Gathering Back in Purgatory

We were all here five years ago for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding and wanted to come back to enjoy without wedding duties. Three generations enjoying the beautiful condo.
The property had some issues with staffing at the lodge restaurant, but other than that no complaints.

Perfect location for a great vacation winter or summer

This is the third summer in this property. The condo layout is great for multiple families. The condo location is perfect- overlooks the plaza at the base of the mountain and close to food and activities. The mountain is great for ski fun in the winter and lots of activities for family in the summer: alpine slide, the coaster, mountain biking, scenic ski lift and horseback riding.

This was the perfect lodge for us and our friends who have smaller kids. The unit was very big with spacious room so we weren't walking all over each other. Everything we needed was in the room and it was very clean. The resort itself was also very clean and organized. The kids enjoyed the rides, but the only suggestion I have is to buy a morning and an afternoon session for the rides because if it is busy you may not even get to ride each ride once and that was a real bummer. Great rides though and a great vacation spot! Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Purg Resort Stay

We have stayed at Purgatory Resort many times. This 4 bedroom suite was perfect to host a multifamily unit. There were two immaculate king masters and one bedroom with a queen bed and another with two bunkbeds with a shared bathroom. Balcony views were towards the quad. This is at the MAIN resort. On the smaller side for living space, but our family didn't mind. Truly ski in ski out location. We had covered parking. We would absolutely stay again!

Enjoy activities, amenities at the base of Purgartoy Mountain

There's something for everyone in and around Durango and especially at the base of Purgatory Ski Resort. Staying in the resort facilities makes you a member of the "club" and opens the door to all kinds of fun activities for everyone in the family from a fitness center, pool and hot tub to a zip line, ropes course and panning for minerals. Our condo was perfect for a group of 6 adults and 4 active boys. After a day of exploring, they could take off for a game of pool, or a dive into the pool. It's a great place for a family vacation!

Awesome week!

We stayed in this unit the first week of February 2019. They received 26 inches of snow the first 4 days of our trip and we had two sunny days after that. The condo has plenty of room and an amazing view. We used the kitchen all but one night and found everything we needed to prepare meals for a large family. The kids room and living room had some toys and puzzles that kept out little ones entertained. Had a great time and looking forward to coming back.

Purgatory Lodge Unit 302
Overall this condo was very nice and we would come again. Two suggestions that would help for older visitors: Install grab bars in the bathrooms with tubs; increase the lighting in all rooms. The view was wonderful and the location was perfect for our needs.

Wonderful 4 bedroom condo located steps from the slopes. The corner unit provides extra light and better views. Elevator just down the hall. Apres-ski can be found out the front door at Purgy's. Restaurant and bar located on 2nd floor. If convenience is your thing, rent this place.

Labor Day Weekend
We had a wonderful time with family. The condo is centrally located on the mountain with fantastic views of the Needles. Beds were comfortable and bathroom amenities very nice. My only critique is there is no coffee grinder in the condo.

This was our second time staying in unit 302 at Purgatory Lodge. We love the convenience of staying right by the slopes. The unit is very clean and big enough for our two families. The view is amazing too! We will definitely be back.
Everything You Need!

Excellent property! This is one of the most comfortable, well-appointed condos we've stayed in. The condo faces Engineer on one side and the plaza on the other. The deck overlooks the plaza which was fun and not noisy at all. There were 7 of us and we fit very comfortably. The staff at Purgatory Lodge was great. Tyler at the front desk was exceptional. Will plan to return.
Great Vacation in Durango and Durango Mountain Resort
We were a little disappointed with the breakfast. For such an upscale lodge there should have been some variation in what was offered in the Durango Mountain Club; such as, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc. instead of the same thing each morning.
Perhaps the condo hadn't been rented since March which was the last time someone wrote in the guestbook. There were some dusty places, but nothing really bad. There was also a dead bug on the floor in the master bedroom. That was the reason for giving four stars instead of five on the cleanliness rating. This certainly wouldn't keep us from visiting again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought there was a wide variety of activities in the area for everyone.
