Our "retro" studio condo (Gambel Oak #760) features a kitchenette, one full bath, fireplace and a private deck. It is surrounded by Glacier Club’s golf courses and the San Juan Mountains while only a short 10-minute drive to Purgatory Ski Resort and less than 25 minutes to Downtown Durango.

Our "retro" studio condo features a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, stovetop burners, griddle, small oven, coffee maker, and toaster), a full bathroom with tub/shower combo, and a private deck. The lodge-style fireplace is a unique feature you will love during ski season! This studio condo has high ceilings and a wall of windows with lots of natural light. The smart TV is hooked up to cable. The TV can be viewed from anywhere in the condo. The deck feels very private being located on the south end of Gambel Oak - there is seating and an electric grill. Great WIFI speeds of 100+ mbps.

This property does not have air conditioning, but there is an evaporative cooler and fans in the condo.
Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Tamarron DO NOT allow pets.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

At Vacation Rental Collective, we understand the importance of flexibility for travelers when it comes to cancellations. Travelers are subject to the cancellation policy that applies to the specific booking platform where they made their reservation (ex: AirBNB, VRBO, etc). When booking direct with VRC, a non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made within 14 days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than 14 days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least 30 nights, the cancellation policy above increases to 60 days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (rafting trips, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
