If a high-country getaway is on your to-do list, look no further than this newly remodeled cabin retreat located off the Batchelor Loop above the historic Creede.
Enjoy the breathtaking views from the south facing deck as you soak in the private hot tub or prepare some delicious food on the outdoor gas grill provided. The property is ideal for a small family or a romantic retreat for one or two couples and sleeps four comfortably.
Bed Configuration:
1st Bedroom - Queen (Main Floor)
2nd Bedroom - Queen (2nd Floor Loft)
Guests can rid their ATVs to town for shopping, eating lunch or dinner or taking in a show at the Creede Repertory Theatre. The Continental Divide is minutes away and offers a multitude of opportunities to bike, hike, fish and explore.
Access to this high-alpine cabin is via a steep driveway. 4WD or AWD is recommended for all-season access in order to enjoy this cabin. Winter Access requires 4WD and adequate snow tires. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss if this home is a great fit for you!
This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Whether you're hiking, fishing, biking, catching a play at the Creede Repertory Theatre, or skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area, the Creede Collection has your perfect private lodging accommodations.
Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during 4th of July or Christmas/New Years holiday).
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Perfect Getaway

I needed a place to escape the noise for a few days and this amazing little cabin was the perfect getaway. The views were unreal and the cabin had everything I needed for a much needed vacation.
Being off-season, Creede was a bit quiet and not all the restaurants were operating at full capacity but I was able to still have a great experience overall.
I'm very particular where I stay I'll certainly return to this rental for the future. The views!!!!

A Great Escape for Two

This home was as advertised, unless you think 'rustic' means primitive. It is right up on Bachelor's Loop where we could just hop on the ATV without having to tow it to a staging area. The home is really nice and our stay was without problems. Great tv service, the internet never dropped, cell service was excellent, a new washer/dryer, an easy-to-operate sauna, and the view is perfect. Local laws have changed to where you can now ride your ATV from this location to the town store, if you are so inclined. It is a 2-bedroom, but unless you are family, it is probably best for two as it is quaint. Management was very responsive, and overall, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful Views!
The moment driving to the top of the overlook, we knew this place was already amazing before waking in the door. If you do nothing other than sit outside on the deck to absorb the panoramic view, it would be time well spent. The location is a great launch point for countless activities: trail riding, hiking, exploring the local history, etc. The home is very cozy and truly has everything you need. It was very comfortable, and clean. The communication with Vacation Rental Collective was helpful and friendly.

Coolness in the clouds

We, my wife and i , enjoy doing a lot of nothing at this cabin. Real life is busy and rushed. At the Chief, we enjoy having a leisurely breakfast, having coffee and unwinding in the hot tub. More of the same in the evening. We do love to fish, golf, and 4wheel but the best is nothing on the deck!��

Wonderful stay!!

We had the most wonderful time in Creede and at this cabin! We hope to stay again.
We went to last chance mine, ate wonderful food, saw the donkey dash, fished as much as possible and enjoyed the hot tub every night with our girls. We drank coffee every morning on the deck and enjoyed dinner there every night as well. The windows are incredible to take in all of the scenery from inside too.
We farm in Dalhart, Tx so it was a rare treat for us to get to take a trip like we did. Everyone was so helpful, the place was spotless, wonderfully decorated (get to know the history and you will understand where you’re staying more.) We highly recommend this place!
We also have 2 Tx Blue Lacy dogs that enjoyed themselves as well. They were able to be let free and explore while we walked around.
Our 1 year old and 4 year old girls had a great time too. Our oldest hasn’t stopped talking about it yet! She wants to go back weekly.

A Little Slice of Heaven!

This cabin is nothing short of anazing! Pictures don't do the views justice! It's secluded yet close enough to town to make a quick grocery run or check out the quaint Creede shops. The views on the road to the cabin are also breath taking! The kitchen was well stocked as well as other supplies needed. A quick jaunt to hiking trails. Or sit outside with the fire pit and s'mores! Can't say enough about this place and we will definately be back!

Wonderful trip! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the outside grill made meals easy. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking Creede and star gazing was the best!

The place is beautiful this is our 2nd time to stay for a week and we’ll be back. There’s a cabinet door on the island broken.
One suggestion maybe put a wind wall/privacy wall at the end of the house. 36 degree’s with some wind gets chilly above the water.

Incredible view and a convenient location!

Our family of four really enjoyed this cabin! It is small, but perfect for four people and had the most incredible views. Everything was clean and well-equipped with additional blankets and bedding as needed. There was also plenty of cookware and adequate utensils, other than lacking a whisk for baking.
The close proximity to town was great, just about a five minute drive down the mountain. It has both the convenience of being close to town and the feel of being remote and private on the mountainside.
Our only issue was the extremely thin trash bags, to the point where it was difficult to take out the trash without ripping the bags. They aren’t able to handle much weight at all. It’s certainly not a big deal, but it was a minor annoyance.
Overall, we highly recommend this cabin and would love to stay here again!

The PERFECT Honeymoon

We booked the overlook for our honeymoon and it was the most AMAZING time. The view is second to none, the cabin was clean and perfectly maintained. Everyone in town was fun and friendly. We literally don't have a single negative thing to say, Only one word of caution- Sunscreen. Colorado doesn't feel hot, but a full day in the hot tub or on the porch will require sunscreen!!
