Escape the hustle and bustle in this gorgeous HighPoint condo with modern mountain finishes and breathtaking views! Our 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo (HighPoint Unit 584-585 ) features a full kitchen, gas fire place, and private deck. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our guests can play the Valley Course at Glacier Club at a discounted rate of $160 per round for 18 holes with a cart.
On the main level is where you will find open concept living with a comfortable living area with a fireplace and flat screen TV, a large dining table, fully equipped kitchen, and coffee bar. There is a nice deck off the living room to take in the great cliff and golf course views. The deck has seating and an electric grill. There is also a full bathroom and laundry closet on this level.
The upstairs bedroom has 2 Queen beds, a flat screen TV with DVD player and a large full bathroom. There is also a loft bedroom with entry door and a unique sliding barn door to create privacy between the sleeping area and the living area below. This loft bedroom has a King bed, with it's own full bathroom.

2nd Bedroom - 2 Queen Beds with TV (2nd Floor)
(there is also a pack-n-play crib in the upstairs closet)

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Tamarron DO NOT allow pets.
ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.
LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.
4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer
travel insurance.

Wonderful Visit to Tamarron

My wife and I took our son and his wife and our two grandchildren with us to go visit the Durango area. We have stayed at Tamaron in the past and wanted to visit it again. It is amazing to see how it is changed over the years we stayed in a two bedroom condo. It was a very clean condo with great views of the mountains and the golf course behind it. We brought a lot of cleaning and laundry supplies but found they were all provided and that there was a washer dryer in the unit. We thought we were going to have to use the communal washer so that was a nice surprise. Check in and check out was a breeze. The grandkids loved the pool and the playground. The service at The Prospector was superb.

Great spot!
Check-in and check out were easy and convenient, even with a very late arrival. Condo was clean and had just the perfect amount of starter items to last us, party of 2, all week. We very much enjoyed our stay here and those recliner sofas are pretty dreamy too!

This was the perfect place for us to stay. We spent time in Durango, rode the Durango/Silverton Narrow Guage Train, hiked in the San Juan National Forest and drove the loop to Silverton, Ourey, Telluride, Cortez, and back to Tamarron as highlights to our trip. Tamarrron HighPoint 584's location worked perfectly as a jumping off point for us. And the accommodations were exactly what we needed for relaxing between side trips. We don't play golf, but its setting within a mountain golf resort is beautiful. If you don't golf, at least take a walk around the resort's golf-cart/walking paths, it's breathtaking. If your stay is for the purpose of downhill skiing, Purgatory Resort is a drive of just under 10 miles north from Tamarron HighPoint. Enjoy! We certainly did.

Beautiful condo in a perfect location!

We enjoyed celebrating our 20 year anniversary in a perfect location! Close to the town of Durango where we enjoyed dining and shopping, but also close to Purgatory where we enjoyed mountain activities. We took a short drive one day to Silverton where we rented ATV's and enjoyed exploring the Alpine loop. Truly a great location to enjoy everything in and around Durango. The condo was absolutely gorgeous! Very updated and clean! The owners went above and beyond making sure guests have everything they need. The beds were very comfortable with great linens provided. We enjoyed the outdoor patio with the best views of the mountains and golf course. Customer service from the manager and owner were top notch! We will definitely book this condo again!!

Well stocked and the owners have thought of everything! There was ample towels but not as many as wash clothes (my only minor complaint). We throughly enjoyed our stay. Great location which made it easy to drive to Ouray and Mesa Verde.

One week stay in March
We loved our stay here. There was four of us and plenty of space. Beds very comfortable. There was plenty of everything to cook and the washer/dryer was great. 3 bathrooms was a huge plus. The staff was so nice and helpful. We loved the view from the balcony. I was initially going to stay in one of the studios but decided to upgrade and I am so glad I did.

Wasn't looking for anything specific, just wanted a little condo in the mountains. Stumbled upon Tamarron and it did not disappoint! The staff was great & our unit was amazing. The entire area has a nice community feel - lots of people walking their dogs, going for walks, etc. I'm even considering purchasing a unit here down the road - we will be staying here without question from now on. 15 minutes from Durango, 10 minutes from Purgatory. Trust me, well worth the money.

Beautiful Resort with an amazing view and very comfortable
Beds were very comfortable and had an amazing view. We enjoyed walking around the resort, it was so beautiful. We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub due to COVID since you had to make reservations and we had other things on our daily agenda so we never knew when we would be at the resort.
