Our studio condo (HighPoint Unit 638) is perfect for that romantic weekend get away for two. Features a full kitchen, one full bath with modern updates, a private deck and fireplace, comfortable king bed and full kitchen. It’s situated in a peaceful escape, set amidst arguably the most beautiful scenic valley in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.
King bed, full kitchen with large fridge and stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, crockpot. The deck facing east views of pine trees, red cliffs, and a little bit of the golf course has bar height seating with a table to enjoy coffee or meals outside. Large flat screen TV, fireplace.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.
LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

If you booked on a third party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.

Outstanding Vacation Stay!

First of all the location can’t be beat! Situated on the edge of a canyon, with the mountains right behind it! Right off of HWY 550, the Million Dollar Highway! Incredible views just up the road! Plus close to Durango and anything you might need or want to do! The room itself is very comfy and plenty of amenities. The bed is so comfortable, that we wish we could take it with us! The view off the back deck was amazing! The staff at VRC were very attentive and easy to work with. And on top of it all the cost was very reasonable!

Perfect Location and Very Comfortable!

Second summer in a row that we’ve stayed here and we plan coming here again next year! Close enough to Durango for convenience but far enough away to feel some privacy and quiet! Plus being located on Hwy 550, the Million Dollar Highway was great for Denice drives and great for hiking! Studio was nicely appointed and roomy enough for my wife and I. The restaurants onsite were both top notch and the facilities were good. We found the staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful. The golf course was beautiful and fun to play. But the best part was our view from the balcony overlooking the canyon below!

Beautiful mountain escape

The condo was perfect with an amazing view off our back porch. I bought a hummingbird feeder and had so much fun watching the birds! We didn’t golf, but the course looked amazing. The pool and facilities were top notch. It was a nice distance from Durango, not too far and not to close! Plus cooler since we were at a nice elevation. We loved this place. We will be back.
