Centrally located in the beauty of the San Juan Mountains at Tamarron Resort is Pinecone Unit 822. This delightful vacation rental has been remodeled and has nice furnishings. The living room has a 65” SMART TV, and a queen sleeper sofa with a comfy foam mattress. The modern kitchen has everything the chef in the family will need to prepare meals at home. The dining table seats 4 and there are also 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter. The main level full bathroom has a walk-in shower and washer/dryer. The deck looks out upon a pretty grassed area with giant pine trees. The large, lofted master suite has a king size bed, a desk, an on-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo, large closet, and a 42” TV.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.
LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.
4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).

Nice condo and great location
This a beautiful condo and worked out well for my husband and I. It was close to hiking trails and lakes to fish. Nice restaurants and gym. The property was well appointed with everything we needed including a washer and dryer. My only recommendation would be to have reading lamp near couch and chairs. A few light bulbs were burned out. We will defined be back.

Tamarron #822 did not disappoint! The condo was exactly like the photos and the description advertised. This place was perfectly situated between the town of Durango and Telluride ski resort. My wife and I loves the way 822 was decorated and stocked. We would highly recommend this place!

Nice Updates to Property
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Recent updates to property were well done, especially to the kitchen and downstairs bath. The furniture was very nice and comfortable as well. Great to have a top of the line washer/dryer available in the unit. Appreciated the timely texts from the property manager to make check-in and check-out much more efficient.

Great Autumn Visit!

We enjoyed staying at Pinecone #822 at Tamarron Resort. The unit was comfortable, well-equipped, quiet and conveniently located for our purposes. We chose the property for access to hiking, fall scenery, golf and other resort amenities. The drive into Durango was very reasonable and we enjoyed the restaurants and shopping found there. We timed the fall color perfectly (9/26 to 10/7) and seeing the gorgeous golden Aspens with early snow on the mountain tops was a highlight of the trip. We would happily stay here again!

The unit itself is very nice, comfortable and well decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. The unit has its own entrance - no elevators to deal with. Although most of the place has black out curtains, there are some windows in the master loft that do no have window coverings. If you plan to sleep in and need it to be dark, I'd suggest a sleep mask. Our communication with the management company was quick and easy. All in all, the place is great and I don't believe the pictures do it justice.
