We have rented several different properties from VRC over the past 5 years. Each one has been excellent. The accommodations that VRC offer have a consistent high standard with regard to being located in beautiful surroundings, and being very comfortable and very well equipped. We really like VRC's unique short term rental model of having wonderful staff with deep local knowledge available in each area, who have been immediately able to take care of any maintenance and other issues.

| We stayed here for Easter Jeep Safari. The location was close enough for all of our adventures during the week, all super easy to get to. Our kids loved the pool, and it was pretty close by. The place was absolutely perfect for our family. We stay in South Fork every year and will definitely be back for this place. Our host was very responsive and even dropped off a new mixer when the one on-site wasn’t working. That’s quality service!

What an absolutely awesome place to stay! The pictures do not do this place justice! It is absolutely beautiful on the inside and out. Nice and cozy, very clean, great views, and very convenient! We booked our trip a few months in advance, then had to change it shortly thereafter due to my boyfriend’s broken ankle. We could not have asked for VRC (property management team) to be more understanding or accommodating. Once we changed our trip dates, we started asking about resources for getting lift tickets in advance or possibly at a discount. VRC pointed us in the right direction and ended up saving us $60 on our lift tickets. We also asked about discounts on the train, as we wanted to do quite a bit of activities and wanted to save where we could. Keith said he had a buy one get one coupon. So I booked our reservations and he dropped off the coupon at the train station, got it applied to our reservations and saved us another $100! They truly went above and beyond for us! You don’t find that in most places. Our trip was my boyfriend and our two labs. The property had a great area off to the side with plenty of room for our labs to run and play in the snow in the morning and afternoons before/after skiing. The shuttle to the ski area is a definite plus. It runs every hour (except between 11am-1pm) and is super convenient-picks up right at the lodge so you don’t have to worry about driving OR parking and having to walk to the ski area when it’s crowded. The inside of the condo is nice and roomy. Since we don’t have kids, we used the downstairs bedroom for our pups crates and the closets for storage. The upstairs master is great-very cozy and private if you have kiddos. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back and we will definitely rent from one of Vacation Rental Collective’s properties in the future! Absolutely second to none!
The Creek House was everything that was advertised and then some. The property management team was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations to ensure our week in Durango for fishing and site-seeing was successful. This was the perfect house and setting for a relaxing week. We’ll be back.
Our family of ten had a wonderful time. The Vrbo listing was very helpful with making our decision regarding accommodations. The house was very roomy. The photos of the house were accurate. However, the photos did not do justice to the location. The area was gorgeous particularly with 20+ inches of fresh snow. Vacation Rental Collective was great to work with. They responded quickly to any questions. The house is remote and quiet. It is in a subdivision. The lots are large and houses are spaced out. Four wheel drive autos are an absolute must for the driveway and road leading to the house during the winter months. We would enjoy staying again.
Excellent home even better management company! This home was an excellent base camp for my family. From here we enjoyed hiking (saw a moose), mountain climbing (Handies Peak, Sneffels, Potato Hill), 4×4 off-roading (Alpine Loop), mountain biking (Hermosa Trail – awesome), and played kickball with the neighbors. It was a great time all around. An additional word about the management company for this property – they deserve 6 stars. Super professional. All the information they provide is right on point. Lastly, I messed up my reservation and they saved my vacation. Thank you!
We stayed here from July 29 – Aug 1 and it was so quiet and nice. We loved the location of the Townhome. The management team was very friendly and helpful! We will most definitely stay here again or at any other properties managed by Vacation Rental Collective!! Thanks!
This is our 4th time renting through Durango Vacation Rental Collective, 3rd time at Black Bear – couldn’t be happier. Far enough from the resort to have peace and quiet, close enough to play every day and watch the slopes. Bordered by woods and a nearby lake, the property is great for walking (both with and without dogs depending on which unit you rent), and very safe. As usual, Vacation Rental Collective is attentive to absolutely anything you may need and is readily available and helpful – their courtesy and consistent aid is why we will continue renting from them. Beautiful home!
Kendall #444 is perfect for two people. The condo was clean and the East facing views of the Twilight Peak and Needle Mountain from our patio and living room window were amazing. One of the chairs on the patio was broken and the property manager (Vacation Rental Collective) offered to purchase another in Durango and drive 25 miles to bring it to us. Keith cared about making our stay as good as possible! I highly recommend this place and will be back next year.
