What I love most about Winter Park is the mix of adventure and a relaxed small-town feel. Whether I’m skiing in the winter or biking in the summer, there’s always something to do. After a day outside, I like finding a good spot to eat and unwind. The mountain views never get old, and it’s a place I always want to come back to. Even in the off-season, there's fun things to do and less crowds, that makes it easy to reset. It’s the kind of place that feels just as good for a weekend trip as it does for a longer stay.

Working and living in Denver gives me the chance to explore so many amazing spots around the city. One of my favorite activities is biking along the Cherry Creek Trail and soaking in the urban-meets-nature vibe. I also love catching a Rockies game at Coors Field – there’s nothing like the energy of the crowd. When I’m in the mood for culture, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science always has fascinating exhibits. And of course, spending time in RiNo (River North Art District) for the murals, breweries, and live music is always a highlight!

Hear from Our Happy Guests

We were absolutely delighted with this accommodation. Starting with the very tasteful furnishings, the perfect location and the smooth handling. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and clean and looks even better than in the pictures. There are several recommended restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance in the very well-kept neighborhood. We recommend the accommodation for responsible adults who appreciate sophisticated and tasteful accommodation.

FAQ For Renters

Are pets allowed at your Denver vacation rentals?

A: Yes, VRC offers a selection of pet-friendly vacation rentals in Denver, so your four-legged companions don't have to stay home. Use the Pet-Friendly filter above to browse homes that welcome dogs and other pets.

Can I book a long-term or monthly stay in Denver?

A: Yes, VRC offers 30+ day rentals in Denver for guests who need an extended stay, whether for work, relocation, or simply spending more time in the city. Use the 30+ Day Rental filter above to see current listings.

Is Denver walkable or do I need a car to get around?

A: Downtown Denver and neighborhoods like LoDo and RiNo are very walkable, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and light rail. That said, a car or rideshare makes it easier to reach Red Rocks, the mountains, and attractions outside the city center.

What’s the elevation in Denver and will it affect my trip?

A: Denver is famously the "Mile High City," sitting at exactly 5,280 feet above sea level. Guests coming from lower elevations may notice mild effects like fatigue or shortness of breath, so it's smart to stay hydrated, take it easy the first day, and limit alcohol until you've acclimated.

Are your Denver vacation rentals good for a business trip or extended work stay?

A: Yes, VRC's Denver rentals include options with home offices, reliable WiFi, and full kitchens, making them a comfortable alternative to a hotel for business travelers. Downtown and central neighborhoods put you close to Denver's business districts and convention center.

What’s the best time of the year to visit Denver?

A: Denver is a year-round destination. Spring through fall (roughly April through October) brings mild weather that's ideal for exploring downtown, hiking nearby trails, and catching outdoor concerts at Red Rocks. Winter is popular too, since Denver sits within easy driving distance of some of Colorado's best ski resorts.

How far is Red Rocks Amphitheatre from Downtown Denver?

A: Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre sits about 20 miles southwest of downtown Denver, in the town of Morrison, roughly a 25 to 30 minute drive. It's an easy day trip or evening outing from any of VRC's Denver rentals.

How far is Denver from the ski resorts?

A: Many of Colorado's best-known ski resorts sit within a 1 to 2 hour drive of Denver, including Winter Park, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Vail. Staying in a Denver vacation rental lets you enjoy the city and still make an easy day trip to the slopes.

What’s the closest airport to your Denver rentals?

A: Denver International Airport (DEN) is about 25 miles northeast of downtown Denver, roughly a 35 to 45 minute drive depending on traffic.

Is Denver a good home base for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park?

A: Yes. Rocky Mountain National Park is about 55 miles northwest of Denver, roughly a 1.5 to 2 hour drive to the Estes Park entrance. A Denver rental works well if you want to pair a mountain day trip with city amenities.
